I feel the same. Most skins Riot tend to make nowadays are either uwu girly skins with bland vfx or popular champions that don't fit to the theme. Sometimes there are even out of place skinlines with misleading design/name. This skin stays true to its name, the splash art and model doesn't scream stupid fanservice to me *cough* edgy shirtless *cough* and the VFX are unique, not recycled like modern Inferno or Project skinline.

i keep coming back to the origin of ashen knight, as sylas and pantheon were released. i am a proud mastery 7 pantheon main and i was so excited when ashen knight pantheon was leaked. i imagined something like pyke - a full purple armor with wings and choir, the dark souls like look with the sfx that fit the skin and so on. i was instead disappointed with a ruined pantheon and purple chroma. sylas was the same. riot has not been responding to the player feedback, we've trying to tell them to close helmets and give full body armor, but pantheon's and slyas' chest is fully exposed and not even a helmet was added. i am so disappointed in riot, this skin line was going to be perfect and polished - it was everything we wanted. wings, choirs, edgy knights and dark souls like bosses

This skin line has unbelievably high potential, much more than any riot has released. I main adc, but Mordekaiser, Aatrox (this would be a godtier skin with ult sounds), Kayn (holy shit just imagine rhaast and shadow assassin), Pantheon, Lucian, Hecarim.. they would be amazing skins
