SKINTOP® MULTI-M | Winner of the Eddie Lapp Award 2020

This year, the Eddie Lapp Award 2020 is presented to the SKINTOP® MULTI-M and its development team. The compact design of the round multi-cable bushing system with a metric connection thread, allows a space-saving feed-through of unassembled cables. Additionally, the innovative and highly elastic gel technology of the SKINTOP® MULTI-M makes pre-pricking unnecessary as the cables are fed directly through the entry points. The gel adapts optimally to the cable diameter (2-6mm) and thus guarantees a high ingress protection class of IP 68. The remaining entry points are securely sealed by the gel to prevent the ingress of foreign bodies and at the same time allow a subsequent installation of further cables if needed.
The Eddie Lapp Award is the internal innovation prize of LAPP and has been awarded annually since 2007 to the best innovation in the area of product, process or business model.
