I live in Utah, not far from skin walker ranch. We don’t have wolves here. Sometimes one or two will come down from Yellowstone but it’s incredibly rare and often not documented. We do have coyotes, but they’re much smaller which makes the photos of “skinwalkers” so much more strange.

The reason you have a hard time finding info about it is cause native Americans don't like to talk about it. Cause once you do they say you'll be tormented by one. I never really believed in skin walkers until I watched a video about it, I thought it was cool so then talked to my friend about it cause we both love paranormal stuff, she already knew about them and warned me I shouldn't talk out loud about them cause they can find you that way. I was a bit freaked but didn't think anything of it, but after I talked about it weird shit kept happening around the outside of my house. Especially outside my upstairs bedroom window where I spent most my time. I kept hearing meows, sometimes tapping or scratching, thumps on my window and strange noises. Everytime I looked thou nothing was there. One night I was actually making a video and heard tapping on my window, my window doesn't have a curtain btw. I didn't look at my window because I had this sick feeling, like I shouldn't. so I thought to grab my cat, animals are far more sensitive to the spirit world so if he didn't sense anything I thought I would be fine. When I brought him into the room he took one look at the window, fluffed up, growled and clawed his way out of my arms. I've never ran so fast out of my room in my life. Over time after a lot of smudging and prayers things quieted down but I learned to never talk out loud about it again. Talking about it now gives me the chills. People can think I'm crazy but I've always been more of a skeptic then a believer. This is something that really scares me. I believe it's more so some type of demon. But whatever it is I hope you guys aren't bothered by this thing like I was..

Grew up eight next to it, and the stories you would hear. And just the way some people would react when it got brought up was just sketchy. Then you would get people who would go "hunting" for them, and my parents were very serious about us not messing with it. We had many family friends who were such honest individuals you knew that this was a real thing that was not meant to be "played" with.
@dandelionmae33785 жыл бұрын
Living on the reservation can be very scary. I was raised there as well, evil people can come into your home, dig through your trash and collect hair, nail clippings and place curses on you. Coyotes are considered to be the most common form of skin walkers, even howls. If one ever crosses your path you MUST stop and pray. Skin walkers also practice necrophilia to gain more power. It’s all very twisted tbh. There are a lot of Navajo “superstitions” too that a majority of us are afraid of. Like, if you eat frog legs your next child will not be able to crawl properly and have their legs stick out (I’ve seen this happen myself). You must visit a medicine man and be cleansed in his hogan. There’s a lot of spiritual energy there and a lot of people still practice ancient traditions to this day. Overall, the southwest/four corners is a paranormal hotspot because it is a sacred place. It’s populated by oppressed people who continue to be capitalized on... but that’s another story for a different day.

i’m catching up on old episodes i missed and when i saw this one i got so excited! i was born in utah and have lived here all my life and have personal experiences with skinwalkers. my mom was born and raised in central utah in the hotspot of skin walker sightings. her brothers work in the oil fields out there and have seen skinwalkers multiple times. usually they’re in a really creepy humanoid goat form and it always happens at night on the drive home from work. they’re able to run really fast and have chased my uncles truck for miles at the same speed he was going- no matter how much he sped up. they’re also somehow able to control the temperature. my uncle described driving home on a winters night with his heat all the way up. when he sees the skinwalker a sense of dread goes over him. then, when they make eye contact, the temperature in his car suddenly falls to the point he can see his own breath. my sisters friend has also seen a skinwalker up here in northern utah, again at night. this one was especially scary. i won’t elaborate here but the things i’ve seen and heard keep me up at night. they let out a horrifying howl in the dead of night that will chill you to your bones. most of us utah natives believe in skinwalkers because people have experiences with them ALL THE TIME. i’ve had experiences with ghosts and potentially even a demon but i still think you’d be hard pressed to find an entity scarier than skinwalkers. they really enjoy messing with people and revel in your fear. also, I just wanted to help josh out with his pronunciation😂 unita is pronounced you-in-tah and duchesne is pronounced do-shane.

I live in a very hunter friendly state, MT, and hunting is a huge population control method around here. And with hunting, there is a certain amount of tags sold each year to control how many animals are killed. You can't just go out and shoot a deer without a tag and not within the hunting season. That is poaching and is severely illegal. There are huge federal fines when it comes to poaching. Hunting also helps with disease control because we all know how easy diseases spread within large populations in small areas (cough* black plague cough*), makes sure there is enough food for the animals (if there is an over population of deer in a certain area, they will continuously eat the vegetation around and never let any grow back which can cause the deer and other wildlife in that area to starve), provides food for families (a lot of times, those who only "trophy hunt" still have to take the carcass into a game processing center and they clean and harvest the meat to sell to others); and as I said before, wildlife population management, which makes sure there isn't more wildlife in an area than the habitat can withstand. Hunting wouldn't fall under animal cruelty because it actually has a purpose, a big purpose, and in hunters education, one of the biggest things taught is to make sure you quickly and humanely kill the animal with as little suffering as possible. Granted sometimes they don't die with the first shot but it is your responsibility as a hunter to end its suffering as quickly as possible. Without hunting as population control around here, Montana would be so over run with deer, elk, bear, etc. that they would all be disease ridden, starving, aggressive, suffering, animals. I hope this didn't come off as defensive, because I was writing it from an educational stand point. I truly believe that hunting is not considered animal cruelty

*I LEFT THIS COMMENT ON THE PREVIOUS VIDEO: STANLEY HOTEL* I'm listening to the new Skinwalker Ranch podcast and like always you guys are amazing! You guy's should do a podcast on Stardust Ranch ( Buckeye Arizona) There's a huge power plant near it, and the owner of the Ranch claims to have killed aliens 👽

The channel Bedtime Stories has done a 2 or 3 part series on Skinwalker ranch, and it gives much more interesting detail than what we hear here. That’s not a diss or anything at all, but if this story interests you, you should definitely search “Bedtime stories skinwalker ranch” on KZbin. It’s a great series!

I’m cree and we have something like this that shape shifts into an animal.. almost like a spirit that was once human that turned evil and now only eats human meat.. you can only say it’s name while there’s snow on the ground but if you say it in the summer it’ll come after you

look honestly, if things keep going at the rate they are for me, I will absolutely figure out a way to get on the ranch because I am all for alien abduction and cruising the universe. like please, aliens, if you can hear me, I am literally begging. I will PAY to be abducted lol I might not be very useful, but I'm great on road trips and enhancing the mood. I tell good jokes and anecdotes. and as long as you don't kill me I'm cool with being tested on. i feel like you might be able to help figure out how to cure my ailments more than the US healthcare system.

I feel like it’s impossible for crop circles to be human. I mean 1) they are far to perfect for flawed humans. 2) you would see the path of the person leaving the field (I use a ride mower at work and you always leave a trail leaving the area you just cut) 3) they seem to show up over night it would be nearly impossible to create that perfect design in the dark even with tractor light (I use tractors at my work all the time and the light is not bright enough for a crop circle)

Coming from Emery County, Utah here. This just freaked me out a little bit I have to admit. A few months ago I was talking with my boss and she was telling me about her families farm in the small town Emery, Utah. She told me about back in the 70s they were finding so many of their cows mutilated and that there was one that was pregnant and had its stomach ripped open and the calf was pulled out laying next to the mother and there wasn't a single trace of blood. Also giggling at the way Josh pronounced Duchesne 😂❤

I remember when I was a kid maybe about 10-13 yrs old I saw a UFO. It was already dark out but I was playing soccer with other neighborhood kids. While I was chasing the ball I stopped and looked up into the sky and there I saw the UFO. The ship itself was a shiny metallic and had a blue gradient light following behind it. I remember just staring at it but not being terrified I was more curious as to what it was doing just drifting there in the sky. I turned and tried to get other kids to look up, I pointed yelled at them to look up at it and at one point even forcefully made someone to look up but he just pushed me away and kept chasing the soccer ball. So I gave up and just looked up at the UFO for another moment. Then it just took off like how in the movies the ship leaves in the blink of the eye kind of like a warp speed. Then I ran into my sisters house to tell her but told me I was crazy and didn't see anything that it was probably a helicopter. I know it sounds insane that the UFO was there for such a long period of time with no one else to see it other than me. But I will take it to my grave that I in fact saw a UFO and the existence of other life in the universe to be real.
