If Jerry Jones would have checked his ego at the door, then he could have signed Dak to a 4 year, $100 million to $120 million deal before the QB market changed. All the Cowboys have to do is fix their defense. They already proved they can score on any team with Dak as QB. Last year, Dak was on pace to not only break Peyton Manning's single season passing record of 5,447 yards, he was on pace to obliterate it. After Dak threw for 502 yards in week 4 against the Browns, he was on pace to throw for 6,477 yards. 😲 In just 4 games, Dak had already thrown for 1856 yards. Do the math. That's averaging over 400 yards a game. No other QB was putting up numbers like that through the first 4 games of the season.
