PERFECT!!! He's ready and Jye will do a brilliant job as the singular captain of the club! Not to mention the joint Vice-captaincey of Larkey and Sheezel. There's our line of succession ladies and gents. Larkey will no doubt become captain at some stage and make his mark on a proud and potent lineage of captains when tbe time comes. All an all to set things up for when Sheez feels ready for it.

Awesome news. Simpkin is a great representative for North. And so good to see Larks and Sheez as vice captains. I think Luke MacDonald has done the right thing, I do not have him in my best 22, but I hope he has good form this year and can get his spot back (if needed lol). I really need to calm down my expectations for 2025 lol. I do this every pre-season, get far too optimistic.

Completely agree. I said that if Clarko and the football department were serious of immediate change then Luke needed to step aside. He is clearly not in the best 22 anymore and should steer clear to allow the youth to come through.

@@timthepilot 💯 unfortunately he makes the team worse when he plays but he has a long contract. Now he’s neither captain nor in the leadership team hopefully he will exit the team this year.

Three excellent choices. I don't think they could have chosen better and the succession plan it built into the VC appointments. All three have the respect of not only everyone associated with North, but also the wider AFL community. Parker will provide leadership regardless of what title he has next to his name. Go Roos!

L Mac has done a great job as co captain, but now is the time for Jy Symkin to captain NMFC. I'm sure Harry Scheezel and Nick Larkey will be great vice captains ---- GO SHINBONERS 💙🤍💙🤍
