The recipe to make Granite with Diorite and Quartz is one of the things that actually makes the most sense in Minecraft... when you're a geologist. In real life the main difference between granite and diorite is the fact that granite contains quartz and diorite doesn't. As for the color, it's caused by another mineral: feldspar. Diorite contains only white feldspar (also called plagioclase), while granite also contains a lot of orange feldspar (orthoclase) That being said, the recipe for diorite is cobblestone + quartz. When real-life diorite doesn't contain quartz. ... yeah i don't have any excuse for that one

I didn't take it so I don't know much but I'm guessing what they connect through is paleontology but you don't need extensive knowledge of rocks for that and definitely not of igneous rocks since fossils appear in sedimentary rocks, I hope the original commenter corrects me if I'm wrong

Fun fact for pocket edition! When you're crafting in bulk, do not fear the endless tapping just hold down like you would to grab part of a stack, and it shal craft faster than it takes to say "OH GOD A BABY ZOMBIE"

13:29 another interesting fact about woodland mansions (at least on bedrock I don’t know if this is true in Java) is that in every woodland mansion there is an Efficiency 1 Leather Cap, hidden in a secret room, behind a wall, easily findable by the fact that it will just be a doorway with a wall instead of open space, Edit: after looking on the Wiki apparently this is just one of many different secret rooms that can generate and I’ve just been lucky enough to find this in every single woodland mansion I’ve found since upgrading to Bedrock Edition from legacy console
