also, as a imposter, don't get yourself in the situation of: "vote him off, and if it is not him, vote me." No matter if you are the one being accused, or using this as a last ditch effort when caught. crewmates are ready to sacrifice themselves in echange for 1 imposter. For 8 crew and 2 imposters, thats a good deal on the crews part. hence if you are accused, don't try to swing it around, but try to come up with a explanation that will put both you and the accuser out of harms way. If else, you are 1 emergency meeting away from dying.

Here’s a hint: Don’t go into a room and vent if there are ppl outside. They would most likely see you going into the room and you didn’t come out. Especially in places like electric, upper engine, and security. If you are a crewmate, look for those types of senarios. Though the imposter (if playing with random s) might be smart enough to avoid that. Another hint: look for dead bodies where a mighty sus “crewmate” was. I was playing on Mira and this dude was sus af. He went to the upper part of the ship and i waited a bit until he came back. I knew there were other ppl in there so i looked around and he knew i was looking, and there was Le body in o2 sitting by the plants

Playing with friends is cool as long as they don't say who's the Impostor when they die. I've gotten so many annoying lobbies. Like I just kill the first guy where NOBODY saw and I was VERY far and had an alibi but then someone said "It's White I'm sure, I got no evidence but trust me it's him" then I get voted off. Sometimes when I'm very unlucky I get a lobby where they don't even say anything and I get voted off, then the next thing I knew they were voice chatting each other (How did I know? Well they literally voted off every impostor when at least 1 person has died on their group of friends). Edit: What I meant by "Nobody saw" is that they didn't report the body and just press the emergency button.

Here’s a visual task that most people miss. When you’re in shields and is doing the “prime shields” task, before you do it, outside the ship, there are two sets of two lights. They start out dimmed, but after you complete the task, the lights turn on completely.

The problem is sometimes two people could get this task and the one who does it 2nd could get accused of faking it, while he does actually do it. I was crewmate and had to do shield, but the lights were already on (meaning someone else did it first). I did the task and nobody saw me do it, but had someone seen me they could've accused me of faking the task while I did actually have to do shields.

Same, except when I reveal I know they are innocent or it's just the best strategy to survive. I was able to stay by purple without hassle because I told everyone they were innocent. It actually helped us win as Crewmates. Another time, there were only 5 people left, me (Cyan), Pink, White, Green, and Lime. Me, Pink, and White stayed in the cafeteria for a long time while Green and Lime ran off. Eventually, as a group we started to investigate and found Green dead. That was pretty easy. Another time, we were down to four people, and something similar happened. I followed Lime as Cyan and found a dead body. Since we were constantly together, we both knew neither of us were the imposter, so process of elimination. When something like that happens, no one disagrees.

Will P sadly that happened me today, I saw blue kill lime in electric and I (red) reported it as soon as he was about to vent. I told everyone who it is and the imposter was deflecting everything I said and accused me. I thought I won the game but everyone voted me to get kicked out and blue ended up winning the game despite 4 meetings afterwards. I uninstalled the game because idiots with low IQs hindered my chance at getting an .800 game winning percentage

Another two: Saying "racist" when someone accuses a person playing as black, and ratting out your partner as impostor when they're forced to turn on you after everyone accuses you. People are dumb and will eject people just because they think it's funny, don't do it, except if you're the impostor, and even then you still shouldn't. Playing as impostor isn't about standing by your partner's side no matter how bad it gets, you have to play realistically. When the whole impostor game is about stabbing crewmates in the back, don't sabotage yourself when your partner is eventually forced to stab you in the back as well.

Honestly, I think you missed the cardinal rule: Never take things too seriously. You have people who get MAD sweaty in some lobbies. They get super pissed if they lose, or even if something off-the-wall happens. Yes, there is some toxic behavior, such as outing yourself as an imposter as a joke/desire not to play imposter in a two-imposter game and therefor crippling your partner's chances, or being a crewmate and refusing to do tasks because you got voted out unfairly, but, all in all, some chaotic, disruptive "wild card" plays can be fun/funny, so long as you're doing so for the enjoyment of the entire group, not just yourself. In my last game, as the only imposter, I got caught venting. It was only one witness, and it was down to the wire, but instead of going try-hard mode I figured it'd be better to get a laugh out of everyone else by saying that the ship felt a little warm and I was just checking the A/C to make sure it wasn't clogged. Everyone having a good time is better than getting that W in a game where you have no incentive to win.

YES! Once in a game, I was playing with my friend (purple) and got imposter. I killed white first, because I had them in a good place to kill and not get caught. At the end of the round in the lobby, white went in all caps yelling at me saying they hate me and that I framed purple, their best friend. They even said if they get imposter, they kill me first in broad daylight to take revenge. Take note, purple was my irl best friend who barely talked in game, and I NEVER accused anyone that round, much less her. And thats exactly what white did. I went into medbay to inpect a sample and purple and a bunch of other people came in and saw white kill me. Then, to top it off, white claimed the kill, somehow it got tied between skip and white, and next round white sold out the other imposter black. Worst player Ie played with.

Ok here's one more that should be added, if you're an Imposter Ghost, only use sabatoges that you think are the best fit for your teammate's situation or better yet, just let them use the sabatoges themselves instead of wasting them on something that has no use at all. You're not being helpful, you're just making your teammate's job a lot harder and more stressful. I once had a teammate who self reported and got called out immediately and as a ghost he just wouldn't let me save the sabatoge for when I wanted to use them, instead he just spammed reactor, door jamming, and O2 constantly and it was annoyingly tedious to win that game and that was only because when I got called out I accused back and he got kicked out to space and it was fairly easy to get the last kill because guess who decided it would be a good time to set the reactor off, and guess who decided to jam the doors immediately afterwards. Honestly I think that it would have been a bit less frustrating if I had access to killing the lights at certain moments so I can run into a room, kill someone, and get out without being seen, but even when I had my sabatoges ready, I would be planning to kill the lights in a good position to get a kill and run off, leaving two people who were near the body to start accusing each other, and then he wastes it on O2 or Reactor before I get the chance to act.

I learned how to use #13. Because a big part of my strategy as Impostor is to check the admin table to find people that are alone, I'll also sometimes go up to it when I'm a crewmate, even if I'm not using that information.

Last I saw, Blue was alive and well coming from upper engine, so the period of time between the two event was minimum. Red says he was in med when the body was reported?
