Simon of Cyrene made the long journey to celebrate Passover in Jerusalem. Little did he know that this Friday would go down in history.

This hit me so hard. The line 'I thought his blood would make me unclean, but it's his blood that makes me clean'. Though we are constantly told, this reminded me of the pain and suffering Jesus went through for me. And it breaks my heart.

I come back and listen to this every year, and every year it has the same effect on me. Jesus is not a liar or a lunatic - He is LORD and He chose to humble Himself to the point of death on a cross for our sake because He loves us that much. Thank you for leaving this up as a reminder year after year.

Yes, Tommy Jesus suffer & die for me on the cross at Golgotha for my sins but I still hurt Jesus by getting angry, shouting, so selfish gluttony breating & yet Jesus still love me. It's interesting to see the different perspectives. Jesus helped, and was around, so many people. He still helps us, but these people...they saw Him in person. Simon of Cyrene a guy in the crowd, Nicodemus a Pharisee, Lazarus a dead friend, Peter a Fisherman, Matthew a Tax Collector. A Samaritan Woman, a leper, and a paralic. Mary Magdalene who was possesses a Synagogue leader's daughter who was dead, a Roma Centurion with a sick servant. And those are just a few that we already know, who knows who all Jesus helped while in Earth. All different people, from all different walks of life. Religious, Not Religious, Jew, Gentile. Jesus was there for all of them... And He still is today.
