This is such an odd situation,they are currently transitioning from the Swordsmith Village Arc to the Hashira Training Arc so it could have something to do with Shueisha’s licensing (talking about the whole merchandise restriction,not just Funko),that’s my best guess. I mean Ufotable and Shueisha are very secretive when it comes to Demon Slayer but I don’t think they would be stupid enough to stop selling merchandise overseas,especially figures.

Hi, I’m a funko collector from Italy, I can confirm that the situation with the funko exclusives here in Europe is really frustrating and at same time very ambiguous. Here in Italy for example we have tons of pops from the Demon slayer 2nd wave(Mitsuri, Rengoku ecc) and also the exclusives( Tanjuro and the Glowing ones) and they are regularly available in local comics shops (and also at the official funko points during the Comicons)but not from the Funko Europe official shop were others exclusives such as some AOT ones like Yelena or the Cart Titan were announced but then cancelled/forgotten. Yesterday announcement about the shinobu’s pop and the following discovery that it would have been unavaiable in Europe got a lot of collectors like me very pissed because it seems that once again we European collectors are forgotten by Funko.

Unfortunately this situation is upsetting a lot of fans here in Europe including me. I think it will be resolved soon because if they don’t then it’s going to be a huge disappointment for everyone. I’m collecting anime pops in general but, the line that I’m most interested in is Demon Slayer, because it’s my favorite anime. They already made so difficult for us to get Muichiro and now with the restriction and the upcoming Shinobu..uhh the frustration is real 😢 Thank you so much for your help Donte!!! Love from Greece!

This is a very recent thing. Im from Portugal and saw your video on your Shinobu pop, I went to the website and pops were available at the time.

I’ve been trying to find info on it, lots have asked me the same over here. Funko will never clarify more though, it may not even be a license restriction but it may be the easiest thing for them to say if it relates to the EU but then again, there are other countries not in the EU that can order from FEU so who knows and it is only DS (so far) so let’s see but I doubt we’ll hear anything further on it, meantime can suggest reshippers or PopCultcha might have reduced restrictions themselves especially on Shinobu if FEU can’t sell.

Anyone know why the evangelion pops come with a sticker that says evangelion officially licensed? And it’s not like the yugioh 25th anniversary one. It just says officially lincensed. Also Asukas funko pop says it’s number 635, for both variations, but on the back of the pops in the set it says Asuka is number 746? Just confused as I haven’t seen this in any other set

Hope this is just a tempory ban for Europe collectors. I know the hassle/pain of not being able to get the pops (or figures etc in general) you want in your country due to licencing restrictions, and shipping can be super expensive. In new zealand (possibly other countries), we dont get the Trigun pops, HxH etc and with Ouran highschool only recently being allowed here (the twins and Haruhi). Some retailers sell them for $45AUD to $110AUD each.

This is just another Funko internal problem! 😓 I am in Germany and I can confirm that they are unavailable on their website. But Demon Slayer Pops are available in multiple other shops and online stores (like GameStop). But of course it is a big problem for getting the exclusives 😭

Funko is an American based business so naturally it going to be easier here. Kind of how Japan gets all the best Pokémon stuff even there digital events are better, and that’s all digital you could easily Ofer it to everyone in the world, but they don’t. Oh and qotd, I was able to score the vash the stampede chase at my local box lunch, and I thought I was excited when I saw the release for the Trigun line.
