I started a new job with much lower pay than what I was accustomed to. We agreed that after one year we would re visit my compensation package. After one year I was granted a 25% raise. I asked for another raise 3 years later and in return I was fired. Long story short one year later they called me back hoping I would return to work for them again. I have 6 months left to accomplish my degree in my field of work and now I'm worth way more. They didn't like my new salary expectations. LoL 🤣

I've watched so many of these videos from 2019 on salary negotiation but this one is the best and it is 10 years old. Truly awesome. Thank you!

He has been around for a long time and knows his stuff. Much respect and appreciation to you Mr. Sklover. This is GREAT information and I will check out your blog! Getting ready to work on a counter offer letter right now, based on everything you discussed in the video.

Thanks for this sage advice! I particularly appreciate the section around how to break down and categorise the elements of any response to an offer should you wish to negotiate, or at least your personal planning of that response, before it is made. I will definitely use it! Thank you again for helping me.

Great advice. I am trying to negotiate a higher salary, but have not done a job search in about 10 years. So, this was good stuff....

Thank you for the video Mr. Sklover. I'm in a situation where mentioned a certain salary range during my online application. However, now after a thorough market research, I found that the job can pay about 5000 euros more per year. How can I rectify the damage done and say 'x' is my ideal salary and not 'y' (the one I mentioned in my online application) during my salary negotiation next week?

Your intro and outro pitch take up 20% of the entire video. That's time inefficient. Folks flock to KZbin and other new media to get away from the filler and fluff of dinosaur media.
