I got the watch this morning. One thing I don't like: The crown doesn't clearly come to two clicks. 5 months of the year I will have to move the date on, and if the time is exactly right, I don't want to mess it up. Another problem, probably unique to my particular watch: There are no holes in the strap. I'll try to get a partial refund to buy another strap! As it's (officially) a Christmas present from my wife, it's been photographed, checked, re-wrapped and put away. But it seems to be a nice watch. We'll see how far the time has drifted by 25th December.

I got £3 returned for the faulty strap. I would probably have changed the strap anyway. Lucky!

I had one and the chronograph pushers fell off after a year or so. That was a bummer because I loved the look of the watch.

@@GedmisLaguna I have both these watches now. The looks are very much a matter of taste, and will vary according to which colour you have. I have the gold-on-white 9058 with a leather strap. I have to say that, for such a cheap watch, the strap is great. It's got more supple with wear. The watch is great, looks really good, and keeps perfect time (it's gained a total of 3 seconds over 2-3 months). I can have the 9117 now (it was a Christmas present from my wife). The strap was faulty (no holes in it) and I got a further £3 off, which is good, as the strap is awful, holes or no holes. I made a hole in it, but just wearing it, it creased. I bought a strap under £3 from AliExpress, similar to the one that came with the 9058, but with Rose Gold metal parts to match the colour of the watch, Brown and Rose Gold. With a decent strap, the 9117 is a nice-looking watch. I'm not sure about the month indicator. It doesn't seem to have moved from November to December since it was given to my wife to put away for Christmas. I'm going to have to keep an eye on this at the end of December. It keeps pretty good time, I had put it right before it was put away (about a month ago), and it was a couple of seconds slow when I got it back, so keeps good time.

it isn't a chronograph. Calendar: week date at 9H, month at 3H and day-night subdial at 6H positions.

@@alvinh12 Day of the week. Sunday is the first day of the week you set it to 1. Tuesday is the third day of the week you set it to 3. It's simple. The watch is great I have had it for a year now
