"Have faith & persevere." Mad respect to you man and all the warriors doing this om the floor of a busy parking lot in the sun! Humble tip for less experienced diy's, when you tight 90 degrees with extensions to the front of the car, put some wood under the ratchet (or the tire) so the extension assembly doesn't float in the air, and it will be a breeze.. because if the sockets jump off the bolt your fingers will kiss the ground lightning speed. And your back will thank you also. Subscribed!

@blackinblue11 Thanks so much for taking the time to comment and subscribe, it really helps the channel :-) Totally agree - that long extension for the 90 degree turn was pretty precarious - a block of wood - ideally with a 'v' cut into it would be ideal to maintain the arrangement. Keep smiling :-)

Great video, for anyone wondering this looks like the same process as a MK4 polo.

Great video!🙌🏼 But i don’t seem to be able to find the links you mention to the spare parts, such as the stretch bolt🤔

@kevinsrensen6594 Yep - really sorry bud - have started to complete - still a few gaps to fill in - takes ages, but will get it done asap.

awesome video, really helpful. but did have you have to align the steering or was it not needed? does it want to pull to one side or it fine? thanks.
@FixItWithJon Жыл бұрын
@jakubkocian1145 Yes - good point I totally forgot to put that in the video, will edit the description. Yes - it was quite funny actually: Oliver drove down the road after it was done and there was literally smoke coming off the tyres after about 90s. He had to keep pulling over on the way to the tyre garage for the alignment lol.

Does the receiver cup come with the kit you listed?
@FixItWithJon5 ай бұрын
@gsoup7850 Good question! I think you mean the rubber bushing that sits in the sub-frame and the suspension arm slots into? If so - no I'm pretty sure I had to buy it seperately. Really sorry - don't have a part number at this time, but will dig into my old paperwork and revert asap
@gsoup78505 ай бұрын
@@FixItWithJon thanks for the reply! No I meant the cup that the old bush moves into as you extract it 👍

@gsoup7850 Ah! I see.. Yes - that comes as part of the kit :-)
