@@kartikeyupadhyay649 It handles and drive well, Interior is pretty good and infotainment system works well. I drive in Sweden an Octavia combi, with what I think is the same 1.0 TSI engine and 6 speed manual transmission, so I was a bit surprised to hear that the gearbox didn't feel slick. I can change gears with one finger, in my car, and it is definitely one of the smoothest transmissions I've driven with. Is the same gearbox manufactured locally to bring down costs? Is there an India-specific lower quality issue? I was also shocked to find out that the bootspace is a paltry 385 liters. The Fabia hatchback sold here has 380 L and 1190 L with the seats down, so it's indeed a small car. This would definitely not be considered an SUV in Europe, given its size. I guess just having high road clearance is enough to get the SUV tag in India.
@Tropicalmallu Жыл бұрын
In india skoda and volkswagen has to make some compromise on what they make in european cars like suspension,ground clearance,dryclutch etc. And skoda kushaq is completly produced in indian factory as part of their new mission india 2.0.

Are you sure mileage is correct? Even our Innova Diesel gives 10-13 kmpl in city and almost 16kmpl on Highways. 13 kmpl is too low for highway mileage.

We were as surprised, but we stand by the results.
@pchengi17862 жыл бұрын
@@CarWale , did you try fueling from multiple sources and doing a comparison? The quoted mileage does seem lower than expected. I have the same 1.0 TSI engine in my Octavia stationwagon (combi), and I get nearly 20 km/l on highways and 12-15 in the city, in Sweden, and this is with E10 fuel (10% ethanol blend), which gives poorer mileage than pure petrol.
