Fantastic! All the other videos show the rubber boot back, but mine has the clip-on plastic cover like yours. I think the replacement lamps have been fitted upside down - or they're the wrong type - as they can't be adjusted. This shows the correct lamp orientation so I can check. Many thanks!

Hi . If the headlights are turned off , you don’t need to disconnect the battery .

Thanks for this help. Just one thing. It was very hard to open the electric plug when you take of the light. Unfotunately it's not seen in the video how to open the electric plug.

Salut . Cea mai ieftina si simpla solutie ar fi schimbarea becurilor de xenon . Ele se consuma in timp si nu mai emit aceeasi luminozitate . Daca ai nevoie , te pot ajuta eu si cu becurile noi .

Hoa Tattis hello . I don’t recommend installing led bulbs on headlight with projector because the light will not be ok . I recommend you to buy new xenon bulbs , because xenon bulbs usually loose brightness in time .

Thanx for sharing this one! Never replaced xenon bulbs before and neither the Skoda booklet nor Haynes manual offer ANY guidance . Reason: 'If your Skoda is equipped with gas discharge headlights it's best to leave this to your Skoda dealer'. Which translates into 'if you were stupid enough to buy a vehicle with fancy lamps , we won't tell you how it's fixed, go to a dealer and get ripped off!' So total BOLLOCKS!!! If they'd care just to show a pic or two this operation is no harder than changing a regular H4 bulb! A Norwegian VAG dealer would charge you between 6-700 Euro to change two Xenon bulbs!!!

Yup, that of course should cover installation and the bulbs themselves , but it's still ROBBERY ! Ordered new Osram (100% identic to the stock)bulbs from Sweden at 32 Euro apiece and did the work tonight

I don't recall the company's name right now , I just googled the bulb . Now, as for the electric plug, I didn't either (I have one hand with reduced sensitivity and strength), but I just flipped the housing outwards and performed the bulb swap with lamp still attached. Be careful not to scratch paintwork or put too much strain on the wire !
