Eco Log 1050F - 10-ton forwarder in thinning

NordicWoodJournal.com visited one of the most recently delivered Eco Log 1050F forwarders in a young spruce stand. Operator David Samuelsson was hauling pulpwood from a thinning. This small 10-tonne forwarder, with a load index in "Minibruunett-class", was previously manufactured by Gremo for many years in green color and since Eco Log in Söderhamn took over production, it has become yellow. A few days after NWJ visited David Samuelsson from ELA Skogsservice in the forest, Eco Log announced that they are discontinuing the production of the 1050F forwarder. The end this model, they not products any more, fusion with Ecolog was mistake, Gremo was quality company now all is gone, This size forwarder can get only Komatsu 835 or 825 Sampo fr28 John Deere 810, Rottne f10.
