Okay, this has all the right ingredients: industrial without being formulaic, savage lyrics without resorting to death metal mentality, old-school lyric/beat syncing without landing too hard on any single band's doorstep, and danceable enough to break a sweat or break your spine: I see no bad here.

This song was awesome, but for some reason, the "why not" responding to the "why me", god its so good. i cant tell why just this line makes this song 10x better, maybe its like the perfect representation of the oppressive omniscient force or something

KMFDM is one of my favorite bands. I grew up listening to them, I think... Angst up. I didn't mind them adding Lucia or having Schultz or Esch not coming back after Adios. The sound has always been awesome to ME at least. I don't have anything against their new stuff coming out of the 90's. It's still KMFDM, but maybe a bit less outrageous. /input_end_pointlessrant
@EPurpl312 жыл бұрын
"KMFDM sucks" is common among the fans thanks to the song "Sucks" off of the Angst album; it's typically chanted live to announce the audience wants an encore or on KZbin videos. Like "Primus sucks", it usually upsets some fans that aren't aware of the joke. I took this from a web site

This album, I mean, but this song in particular has the right energy for it for me.
@Desertpuma12 жыл бұрын
Actually KMFDM is "No Pity For The Majority". It is translated on the inside sleeve of one of their CD covers. ... But the Depeche Mode story was about a journalist asking En Esch if that is what means and he shrugged in a non-committal way that was misinterpreted as a yes.

I'm not fluent in German but I think it's "Kein Mitleid Für Die Massen" which means "No Pity For The Masses". Not to be an ass or anything, but it does fit the whole KMFDM scheme. The first time I heard KMFDM I thought it meant "Kill MotherFucking Depeche Mode" HAHA got to love the 90's!! ;-)
@scratcher19966 жыл бұрын
Its "Kein Mitleid Für Die Mehrheit" which is "No Pity for the Majority". Same meaning actually but they say mehrheit in the song Megalomaniac.

What? It doesn't stand for that?
@popcornbebop5 жыл бұрын
@@scratcher1996 i know I'm a year late replying to you, but you were five years late for thrall, the "Kein Mitleid Für Die Mehrheit" acronym is fairly recent, for a very long time they would make up different things each time they were asked. So while Sascha says it was always that, to the other members of the band it may not have been.

@kevinnowhow @Vespasian95 This is a little understood issue; what kevinnowhow means is that the Throbbing Gristle, EN and old Skinny Puppy are true "Industrial". Most of what was made 90's and later is referred to as "Post-Industrial"; This is the genre that includes such sub-genres such as Industrial-electronic (this) and Industrial-metal (such as Ministry and KMFDM)...although people don't generally worry about the distinction between true Industrial and post-Industrial.

Okay I love Kmfdm , and skold..... but isn’t “blood in blood out “ a nazi phrase ? Can someone explain that to me ?
@andrewhicks56765 жыл бұрын
The phrase refers to "When a person becomes a member of a certain gang they must kill a designated person in order to join said gang (blood in) and the only way out of the gang is to die (blood out)." Not nazi in origin to my understanding. If it was used in nazi propaganda (which I can't confirm online), it's definitely been used in completely unrelated contexts as well at any rate.
