Awesome bus tour! For anyone who has only recently watched this channel, go back to when the Boyd's were still in Canada and see them build and install everything themselves. They are very talented, and fun to watch. On this tour of Skoolie, everything was tidy, even the Berkey was shiny clean. Good that all 7 kids have the shelf over their bunk bed for storing. Even saw Bethany's bear 🧸 she had made herself and showed us in a past live stream. And camera man Toby's gaming space. Looking forward to upcoming videos. 👍

Love the big “master” bed. I like how minimalistic yet functional your set up is. It’s lovely., still keeping my 4 bedroom 1700 square ft rambler tho. I want a giant bed like that tho.

I’ve been looking forward to the video for a while. I love it! I’m super impressed with the design. I love that the children each have ample space. I grew up with many siblings and for a while we all shared one room, I loved it. Also the bathroom door design is genius !❤

Thank you so much!! I grew up with only 2 siblings, but still, we shared a room until I was 12. When I did get my own room, I hated it at first! I moved back into my brothers room for 6 months before I was ready to be on my own!

How are you managing temperature control with the ceiling not being insulated? How well insulated are the floor and walls?

Insulation is not great, but I’m not sure it would have made a huge difference considering how many windows we left in… but we didn’t build this bus for cold weather… and it does pretty well in the warm weather so far… although we haven’t made it through a Louisiana summer yet…

Haha! My 3 year old and my 6 year old still climb in at least a couple times a week!! It’s sure nice to have the king size bed, we had the first 6 kids with only a queen, that was tight 😂😂

Great way to live, but again ( as I've seen in other families bus home videos) the kids beds still look cramped and they have no privacy, also they're going to need another bed for the yougest child , and yet again the parent's bed is a luxury compared to their kids ones. Pity the family couldn't have saved up longer and got a bigger touring bus . I truly mean no disrespect to the family but it seems that the kids are sacrificing their freedom of space and privacy .

We actually had a coach bus before, but it’s a lot more expensive to maintain it mechanically, and also a lot harder to drive. This bus was only converted for our family to live in for one winter while we traveled south, so we knew it wouldn’t be long term. Otherwise we would have made different plans ☺️

We would love a double decker!! The fuel cost😭😭. We mostly use the RV Parks Restrooms and showers. That toilet is mainly a nighttime use.
