This was so much fun! Mindy I have two questions: 1. Did the mattress smell when it was new and did it smell better after David installed it in his Winnebago? 2. Is it really smoky in the desert from camp fires and does it get inside your vehicle when you park close to everyone? Yes, I would go up on a hot air balloon as long as it didn’t smell from the gas. I have become super sensitive to smell and smoke since Lyme.

Hi Lauren, great questions. 1. The mattress is free of chemicals and has no smell right out of the bag. 2. I have not been camping next to any fires this season, and I try to avoid them for the reason that you, your rig and all of your stuff smell like smoke. Also worth mentioning, I would love to see everyone switch to propane fire pits to avoid starting wild fires, and you don't stink. Cheers!
