Skotina beach, Pieria, Greece - part 3.

Skotina beach ili Paralia Skotinas je veoma mirno porodično mesto sa dosta zelenila, nalazi se u Olimpskoj regiji, 5 km od Leptokarije i 1 km od mesta Neos Panteleimonas. Letovalište Nei Pori se nalazi 10 km od Skotina beach.
U mestu postoji dva restorana - taverne koje na svom meniju u ponudi imaju i giros, nekoliko barova na plaži koji bez dodatnog naplaćivanja nude ležaljke i suncobrane, i dva mini marketa u kojima se osim ostalih namirnica mogu kupiti i hleb i pecivo.
Turisti koji su imali prilike da letuju ovde kažu da je Skotina beach idealno mesto da se u njemu provede jedan lep i miran odmor u pravom smislu te reči: bez buke, jake muzike ili gužve karakteristične za ostala mesta ove regije. U mestu nema komaraca tako da večernje sedeljke u dvorištu vila mogu biti jako prijatne.
Peščana plaža Skotina je po mišljenju mnogih najlepša u Olimpskoj regiji, duga je i prostrana i najčešće bez velike gužve. Postoje i delovi plaže sa prirodnim hladom pa je na njoj moguć i celodnevni boravak.
Na plaži postoje tuševi, spasioci, dve mreže za igranje odbojke, a more je mirno, čisto, toplo i prozirno. Tokom vikenda broj posetilaca se uvećava, jer ovde vole da dolaze i Grci iz Soluna i Larise, ali uglavnom se i tih dana lako može naći dovoljno mesta za uživanje.
Kako se na većem delu plaže nalazi sitan pesak i u moru nema nagle dubine, vaši mališani se bez brige mogu brčkati i igrati u plićaku.
Na levoj strani obale, u pravcu kampa, postoji neorganizovani deo sa kamenčićima i krupnim kamenjem, idealan za one koji vole i da rone. Nakon 2-3 metra u moru kada preplivate ovo kamenje naići ćete na fenomenalan peščani sprud dubine između metar i metar i po, na kome možete stajati.
Skotina beach or Paralia Skotinas is a very quiet family place with a lot of greenery, it is located in the Olympic region, 5 km from Leptokaria and 1 km from Neos Panteleimonas. Nei Pori resort is located 10 km from Skotina beach. There are two restaurants in the town - taverns that offer gyros on their menu, several bars on the beach that offer sunbeds and umbrellas for no extra charge, and two mini markets where you can buy bread and pastries in addition to other foods.
Tourists who had the opportunity to vacation here say that Skotina beach is an ideal place to spend a nice and peaceful vacation in the true sense of the word: without noise, loud music or crowds characteristic of other places in this region. There are no mosquitoes in the place, so the evening sitting in the courtyard of the villas can be very pleasant.
The sandy beach of Skotina is, in the opinion of many, the most beautiful in the Olympic region, it is long and spacious and usually not crowded. There are also parts of the beach with natural shade, so it is possible to stay there all day.
There are showers, lifeguards, two volleyball nets on the beach, and the sea is calm, clean, warm and transparent. During the weekend, the number of visitors increases, because the Greeks from Thessaloniki and Larissa also like to come here, but generally, even on those days, you can easily find enough places to enjoy.
As there is fine sand on most of the beach and there is no sudden depth in the sea, your little ones can frolic and play in the shallows without any worries.
On the left side of the coast, in the direction of the camp, there is an unorganized part with pebbles and large stones, ideal for those who also like to dive. After 2-3 meters in the sea, when you swim past these stones, you will come across a phenomenal sandy bank between a meter and a meter and a half deep, on which you can stand.

Hvala na ovim divnim snimcima mesta odakle imam najlepše uspomene iz svog detinjstva. Godinama sam letovao u kampu Afroditi koji se vidim, još uvek tu nalazi. Glavna prednost ove lokacije, po meni, je to što uveče nema one vreline karakteristične za grčke primorske gradiće - noći su sveže, prijatne, idealne za zdrav okrepljući san i odmor u pravom smislu te reči. Tome doprinosi dosta zelenila, malo asvalta i betona i naravno blinzina veličansvenog Olimpa. Dešavalo se ponekad, na početku sezone da plivajući u toplom moru gledam snežne vrhove te planine 😃... I naravno voda sa česme je upravo dovedena iz podnožja Olimpa, okrepljujuća, planinska, tako da po meni nema nikakve potrebe kupovati je flaširanu u marketu😃 Ovo je pravi izbor za sve koji beže od urbanog pakla. Hvala Vam na predivnom komentaru. Da, ja uvek svima pričam ko letuje u Leptokariji ili Platamonu ili Nei Poriju a da je došao autom, da obavezno ode na ovu plažu. Ona je po meni definitivno jedna od najlepših u celoj Pieriji. Stvarno greota kako god došli u Leptokariju na letovanje da se ne poseti ova plaža jer je samo 4 km daleko od Leptokarije. Inače ovo je ranije bilo vojno odmaralište pa je vojska ustupila veći deo ove plaže civilima i hvala im na tome. Hvala još jednom na komentaru i srdačan pozdrav!
