I'm glad that this animation of Midas had a happy ending. I have a feeling in the original both his wife and kids ended up as golden statues forever. I wonder the extent of Midas' power though - does it require direct skin contact for it to work? If so - he could have found a way to wear golden gloves (metal gloves with a hinge mechanism similar to the ones found in suits of armor) that prevent him from touching anything. Even if it was effective - it would definitely be awfully inconvenient and risky
