@@cryoge sadly with that though he gained a cancerous fanbase, the difference between those other artists stuck in their old styles (ex: getter's fanbase lashing out at him the moment he didn't use a crazy bass in a song) is the way Skrillex handled it. He knew people would be upset and he definitely knew lots would be completely toxic about it but he continued to branch out into every genre he could to leave the biggest legacy he could possibly build for himself across tons of other artists' fanbases as well as his own (at least the fans that actually recognize just how influential his work is).
