My family comes from mainland China and we use both 厕所 and 卫生间 but that usually has the meaning of bathroom For the toilet or potty, we would use 马桶. And I know a regional term but I can’t write it here because I don’t know how to write it.

how do you correctly use the term 內急, can you give some examples please 🙏🏽
@SkritterHQ
@SkritterHQ 2 ай бұрын
"內急" (nèijí) is typically used to express an urgent need to use the restroom. An English equivalent would be “I’m bursting for a pee”. Although we feel it’s more polite sounding in mandarin. Here is an example sentence: 我內急,請問洗手間在哪裡? Wǒ nèijí, qǐngwèn xǐshǒujiān zài nǎlǐ? (I really need to use the restroom, could you tell me where it is?)

可以說 ‘我內急,該退下’ 嗎?或者說 ‘內急極了,得退下’ ? Hmm or more polite perhaps 該退下,內急極。
