@@HungarianMcGowan Not to compare it with Sea of Thieves (they're very different games after all) but there had a season with two opposing factions and players could join either one team or another, and by the end of the season depending on what the players did, there were two possible results. Something like that could have been a nice addition to S&B

My consistent criticsm of Skull and Bones is: ”wow this would actually be a great game if it was a single player/co-op game with an actual story and world where your actions have consequences instead of a soulless LiVe SeRvIcE game.” Edit: Well that and “wow this would actually be a pretty good game if it were about the contradictions between the romanticized image of pirates and the reality of pirates being no different from the “mega corps” they’re supposedly fighting” Edit 2: and of course “if they didn’t want to actually confront and recon with the reality of european piracy in the Indian Ocean in the 1690s they should have just created an entirely fictional setting instead of control+f replacing Adam Baldridge and Henry Every with John Scurlock and Captain Freeman respectively.”
