I just bought the Skullcandy barrel for only $79 plus tax today at Walmart in Katy Texas!!!! It sounds sooo good!!!

It does sound good for $85.52 total. I had to go back and buy another one to get TWS. Just about $172 for 2 is a good deal when compared to other speakers that cost around that price for 1. The Walmart in College Station and Bryan have a few in stock so I'm thinking I'll get one for my brother before they sell out.

Skull-Ho!!! I just got mine today. I'm not really too impressed with the low end bass, it's just not enough true watts for me, but for $79, I will keep her! I got the Beige Barrel by the way. I also have the JBL Partybox Encore Essential, which is on another level over the Barrel, but the JBL retails for 3 times the cost over our Barrel miracle, and the Barrel still hold its own over most other speakers under the $200 dollar category no doubt.

I have both, and lower/moderate volumes i like the skull candy more tbh, the encore for sure takes in the higher volumes but the jbl in comparison just sounds kind of mono, i love both of em, just kind of impressed for the $79 I paid.

Amazing video like always ❤ also I want to comment about Tozo's recent speaker which is the Tozo PA2 which is the 2nd gen of the Tozo PA1 and is much different looking, but I would like to see a video comparison between the Tozo PA1 and Tozo PA2 and see which is better since both cost 39.99

Encore for the win. Btw, if you have the skullcandy crusher evo, get or use a headphone amp if you have, then be amazed. With the same amp, You get a better experience with the 3.5 option hooked up to your music source with the barrel. Bass is more present.

@@oldrenzo5583 yeah the barrel was not really good to me either,especially compared to the encore. Maybe Skullcandy folks can come up with a different approach for the Bluetooth speaker.

Only difference is the encore gets up to 10 hours of battery life the essential gets up to 6 hours

There are some other differences other than rated battery life. There are 3 strobe lights at the top on the Encore compared to just one on the Essential. The Encore also has side lights that the Essential lacks. The Essential has a single microphone jack in back w/mic level knob and doesn't come with a mic. The Encore has no microphone jacks, but does come with 2 wireless mics. The Encore also has microphone settings dials on top for mic level, echo, bass & treble. The Essential has no mic controls on top.

The essential also has a smaller battery so it wont last as long. Im glad i did my research because best buy had the essential for $199 while walmart had the encore for $179 and I went ahead and bought it!

Man I bought the skullcandy barrel and greatly disappointed with it. Not worth the 79 IMO. Soundcore for the price was better. Partybox 110 for $249 is definitely the way to go.
