I've been using crushers and the crusher evos as my dailys since 2019, and I can say that they are absolutely still my favorites. The comfort (at least for me), the sound quality, portability, quality, and of course more importantly, THE BASS are just too good for me to let go. Being able to listen to classical music with great sound quality to bass boosted trap or edm in an instant is just so fun for me.

@C Dailey Overall the evos are much better than the regular crushers. They are way more comfortable, sound better, and have even stronger bass, plus they have a few extra features. So I would say its worth the extra money. If your really not sure you want to spend that much money on headphones then get the regular crushers, they are still amazing and won't disappoint you. I bought the regular crushers first and eventually bought the evos later on, I still love the crushers but the upgrade was worth it. Also a sidenote, the regular crushers have insane battery life, they would literally last a entire week of me using them everyday which is crazy. The evos still have really good battery life but it's not nearly as long as the regular crushers.

I've had mine for like 8 months and I can tell you these are definitely worth it if you're a bass head and listen to rap, hip hop, or my favorite, phonk. If you go to the gym too, these are definitely the best headphones for working out and are definitely an upgrade from your bummy airpods

I’ve been a audiophile for most of my life . And your right they might not be the most accurate phones out there but what they do is involve you in the sound more than any other head-phones I have owned … does music have to totally accurate vs engagement .. for me engagement fun…. The build quality is also up there with the big brand leaders - Sony JBL etc fantastic value for money don’t think just pull the trigger you won’t regret…

I've been using these for almost a year now and I love them, I love the sound, I love their simplicity, the amazing BASS, but they're too heavy for me. I have a very small head and very small ears. My ears fit into the cups perfectly and there's no clamping force AT ALL. The silicone "cushioning" in the headband is not enough for me though and the pressure of the headband will start to hurt a lot after a few hours of use. For that reason, I have to look for another pair of headphones 😪

Today in a shop I just tried lot of headphones like Sony xm5 , Bose 45, AirPod max. And then the evo. Oh god. Blew my mind. Definitely they are not as good in features like others. But who cares. None of them are like this skullscandy. Of course can’t use them for hours after hours as my ears will be blown up. But man this is unique. This is what I want. I’m not kind of a guy who listens to the music while working. But these skullcandy will give me fun when I need it. I have decided I’ll keep using my old Noble earbuds for regular use as they sound crispier than other headphones or ear buds at that price range. And will go for this evo or anc for fun when I need them. Wow. Amazing. I didn’t even know this exists in headphone market. To be honest none of the xm5 and qc 45 sounded as clear as my earbuds out of the box. Maybe they can be improved with app eq. But.. Maybe they are rich in features. But what will I do with features if the sound is not good.

Thanks for the great review. I picked up some $30 Skullcandy Cassettes in the airport a few years ago and they have been great. I just got a pair of JBL TUNE 760NC’s and was not impressed at all. @@pulokeshgarai4285 the Crusher Evos are pretty good for fun listening. Dance music, RnB, Rap.... The XM4, I use for higher quality listening. I find the Crusher EVOs to have high treble and weak bass if the slider is down but can be improved with eq adjustments.

Y'all are missing out they're true potentiality, hook an auxiliary cord (headphone cord) and a Dac to them and they'll be twice as loud as Bluetooth mode, they will literally make everything you look at vibrate, they truly become amazing, twice the power of Bluetooth will change how you listen to anything. I've added numerous Dacs, my LG V20 comes with an ESS Dac and they probably have the lowest power of all the external Dacs, the Syba Dac is the best overall and can handle full power and a Moondrop Dawn Dac is literally dangerous, 4V mode will literally blow them up, way too much power but 2V mode, which is still more than any other Dac I've tried will literally blow you away. Like I've said you must try them this way to appreciate what they can really do, try it out and enjoy

If u REALLY want to jam with these headphones, use the 3.5mm audio jack! Now I know most phones these days doesn't come with the 3.5mm jack. But, if u get a dongle and plug then up wired. INSANE!! But make sure the headphones are turned on as well. A lot louder than using Bluetooth. I go to my EQ settings on my phone and slide the bass frequency pretty much all the way down. So the bass on the slider on headphones won't distort the bass as much. Try them wired. You'll thank me later., 👍😀

Finna wait for new Crusher ANC with Aptx adaptive codec for lag free wireless gaming + kinda high res sound as aptx hd is too laggy for gaming so it has to have aptx adaptive and any other decent bt headphones coming out in 2023 needs to be equipped with aptx adaptive & aptx hd which should be bare minimum and ldac as bonu then ill be ready to cash out. Tried the very first crusher Bluetooth headphone like more then a decade ago (over aac/sbc codec) and the sensory bass felt really good then so I can't wait to hear the sound/bass difference with crusher 2023 model once its out. I've kinda messed up my right ear hearing with max volume accident so i wonder what this technology is called and if any other headphones have something similar that analysis frequency bouncing back from ear chamber & processed in real-time apart from Nuraphones?

1:06 have you tried to momentum 4? Many audiophiles say it sounds way better than Sony. The anc Is a bit weaker but i would gladly trade that for better sound quality. And the battery lasts a lot.

Tell me you favorite song , that I can listen to on KZbin and compare the two headphones , because Crusher ANC and EVO have different bass , that suits each genre of music . I Love top listen deep House music and Crusher EVOs Base ist much better for this Type of music .

@@Mobro_3904 Crusher ANC is the right headphone for people who listen to their rock music. I have always noticed that Crusher Evo has significantly less bass in rock music than Crusher ANC, also for my movies I only use Crusher ANC , because he has more bass and his bass style is also suitable. I listened to your skillet music for 30 minutes. Crusher EVO has at least twice as little bass for rock music as Crusher ANC when bass is set on both headphones at high level and ANC is off.But the highs on the Cusher EVO are a bit clearer and I can hear some notes or vocals a bit better than with Crusher ANC, but if it is set really loud, then the highs are too high and it's no fun anymore. Too bad that in the Skullcandy app there is no custom equalizer to turn the heights down a bit on Crusher EVO. Personally, I would choose Crusher Anc as a rock music listener. Crusher ANC has only one small drawback. It has permanent background noise. If the music doesn't play you can hear it clearly, especially when ANC is on, but if music is running then you don't hear it and enjoy your music . Nevertheless, I recommend the Crusher ANC to enjoy your rock music properly.

@@JuranID thank you that really helped I went to the source to look at both versions yesterday and I think the crusher EVO was being retailed at 199.99 and I live in Canada so that’s in Canadian currency but if I’m not mistaken the crusher ANC is a little more expensive either way I’m glad you told me that now I know that if I can’t find the Crusher ANC in store I’ll settle for the EVO either way both should be better then all other headphones I’ve listened to previously for rock music but ideally I’ll look for the ANC’s once again thanks for giving me tips about which to get

@@Mobro_3904 yes no other headphones have such a strong bass like the Crusher line from Skullcandy. Yes, the Crusher ANC usually costs a little more than the Crusher evo. Here in Germany costs now Crusher ANC €199 and Crusher EVO €189.

The white ones aren't the OG's there was one called the skullcandy skullcrusher and they were wired and felt super cheap and the bass slider was on a controller and it was powered with a AA battery I loved those

Crusher is way better with Bass, the Bass on XB910N is nothing to be called Extra Bass, but they have ANC. the old XB950 was much better but still the Crusher is better than both of them.
