Skullcandy Hesh Evo Review

I felt the exact same way about my Beats Studio 3s (also got mine free with my wife's Macbook) and 1) they cracked easily, 2) I also agree, they're definitely loud and that bass is a lot) and 3) I had challenges with the bluetooth aspect as it made for a challenge when working on music production + recording, even when I plugged the wire in, syncing just felt off. But that said, I've been a Skullcandy fan for many many years and have Hesh Skullcrushers that I've been using for YEARS, and I don't feel they've steered me wrong while working on music production, that's personally what I've been using (I also compare sound and quality of my mixes between my KRKs and car speakers). Now they're just super beat-up and I'm looking for a refresh, so if the sound is still solid with these EVOs, I think I'll pick these up this weekend. Thanks for this review!

I am not a big ear bud or wireless headphone person and have no use for expensive ones at all so never bought any. Happened to see Sesh Evo True Wireless ear buds on sale for $25 so I couldn't resist and bought a set. Best $25 i have ever spent!

My son has these but we can't figure out how to rewind a track by pressing the - button on the headphones.

There's no way to rewind the track. You can either go back to the previous one by pressing and holding '-' button, or move to the next one by holding '+' button.

Been wanting the hesh 3s but have been seeing lots of durability issues which was a shame because the hesh 2s are a tank. I wonder if the hesh evos have improved durability 🤔

So far I haven’t had a durability issues it. They last long in battery power and they charge quicker than Beats By Dre Studio.. They connect quickly to my iPhone and MacBook Pro. So far no major issues...yet

I have a lot of hair so I max out the height thing so it wouldn’t mess up my hair, after minimal use because I’m not going anywhere cause covid, the plastic cracked on both sides in 3 weeks. I had another pair 2 years ago and the hinge broke after almost a year. They’re really good headphones but I haven’t had the best luck with quality.

The Hesh EVO to me has a nice bass balance. To me it gives me a good volume level that I can live with. I compare it more to Beats which can be loud but it does something to the low end that I am not completely happy with. I think this is the case with of Skull Candy headphones especially the ones that are on the higher end. I hope this helps. 😎

Have you tried the Sony's xb900n? They're on sale now for $148.00 and they used to be about almost $250.00 they kind of compare this with skullcandy but I heard they're more comfortable

Cool vid a few thoughts though. Music a tad to loud when you are talking at the start and your voice volume drops when the head phones come on screen mid way through. Other than that noice 👍 Also since its a review maybe some volume and battery life tests or something, mic test for me would be a big one as my previous pair of headphones were useless to talk on when you were in a loud environment. Other than that nice Zeb.
