Excellent video. Happy to see you not going back and forth with the brush. That is the correct way to scrub the barrel. The American Gun Institute uses a bit of Simple Green in hot water to clean guns. This method is on there videos. Put the gun in the solution. Wait five minutes scrub rinse dry. Hair dryer is good then lube.

Where did you get the roll pin remover for removing the grips?

It's a 2.8mm pin punch. I got it from Amazon but, you can probably find one at your local hardware store.

like a surgeon, damn never cleaned my gun like that well. nice
Very well done video however, I do have one question. Did you use the CLP only on the outside of the barrel? You made no mention that when you use the CLP you are supposed to allow it to dry to absorb and treat the metal. I use a hairdryer as outlined in the instructions on Frog Lube's website. Frog Lube's instructions are very specific on the use of the products. I realize that for time's sake you would not go through the drying process but if you are advertising the product you might consider explaining the proper use. When I first started using Frog Lube I was unaware of the instructions on the website and that there was a solvent. I knew of folks who only used the CLP. This is not meant to be a criticism, just informational. Again, I really enjoyed the video.

Yeah, its true Charles. Frog Lube wants us to heat it up. I don't do it. i use it just like regular CLP. I just apply it on everything, scrubs it down, and wipe off. Its always worked for me. And yes, I apply CLP to the bore brush to clean it out. I then apply CLP to cleaning patches, then I use clean dry patches to clean out all the residue. Thanks for the input.

Thanks for your reply. On the pistols which I use Frog Blue I use the solvent to clean the bore then followup with the CLP and clean again. From your video I did not see you mentioning to also use the CLP to clean the bore. Depending on the ammo I'm shooting I use a heck of a lot more matches when using the Frog Lube system. That's the only downside. Yes, I do use a hairdryer to keep the metal cured. Once you use the Frog Lube system you should never use any other products as it will ruin the curing effects of Frog Lube.
