After reading the Skullgirls Webcomic, Filia and Cerabella's backstories and the mobile game's stories, I have to ask: WHY ISN'T THERE A BOSS FIGHT AGAINST THE MEDICI'S!? With how Marie being the next playable character. Heck, Marie targeted all of the Medici families, except Filia's. But guess who did: The Medici's. Going through the aftermath of the war that turned homes (that Cerebella had) into no man's land, guess who help them: The Medici's. Schemers. Gangsters. Opportunists. Kingpins. And probably gaslighted the royal family to be distrusted, so that the Medici would have sway toward the people of New Meridian.

Wouldn't it be WILD if the Last DLC Character was Marie and she had the True ending where she (with help from the rest of the Ensemble) turns on double and destroys Gehena putting a stop to all skullgirls and with that and the medici gone, Eliza tries to take over and our heroes band together in one grand finale to finish it once and for all! It would be even better if they gave Valentine, ms. Fortune and Cerebella a redemption arc, Painwheel and Filia some sort of closure on growing up, Beowulf, Big Band, and Peacock become Heroes, robo fortune (and I guess Fukua if she's canon) gets to live satisfied at a completed objective, and Squigly, Marie and Annie finally get to move on and rest in peace. I think it would be a great wrap up and satisfying ending to the story (even if it's a little too perfect and ambitious).

@@rainbowmothraleo Three months late but... It's a Gremlin Cyborg with a Bratty attitude and a Stubborn Himbo Wrestler. In Beowulf's story, he doesn't listen to Annie Twice before fighting Marie. And Peacock gets her ass handed by Big Band and goes for the Skullgirl afterwards. They really would've ignored her and tried again. Bursting through that ceiling, arguing about where the Skullgirl was and (totally on purpose) help Annie. Showing her that through the years, new allies can come in the nick of time, despite her jaded outlook.

Apparently anyone with a wish the Skullheart deems unpure will have their wish "granted" with terrible negative consequences , I've heard the only character that could be considered "pure" by the Skullheart's standards is Cerebella , but I am not sure if its canon or not.
