With each DLC character we got in this new wave of DLC, they've all been previously stated as characters with bits and pieces to guide us one step closer to uncovering the true timeline. I can't remember who else is required for us to unravel the mystery of the "true ending" timeline, but with Marie I am extremely curious and excited to see where this brings us.

Guys, Future Club stole the Skullgirls IP from Alex Ahad and Mike Z - they did it to make a quick buck before ditching the IP. Mike Z is counter sueing- court case is on Feb 6th 2024. Hopefully Mike will win and get the IP back. Mike Z is currently working on Diesel Legacy (fighting game) check it out. I'm hoping Mike Z wins and Modus Games picks up the IP, it's the only way to save the series as Future Club are going to kill it off.

I think I know how Marie's story will begin. It's going to continue off of Eliza's story. In that story we see Eliza defeat Marie and destroy the Skull Heart as well, and we all know that if the Skull Heart is destroyed so is the Skull Girl. But in the ending of Eliza's story, we see Marie again confronting Eliza.

I realize it's easier to just believe the funny internet man but forming an informed opinion requires an attentionspan. They're probably right in saying that Mariel is not blameless but to present Mike as "just a silly autistic guy who never did anything wrong" is just misrepresentative of the situation. Additionally, for some reason there's this narrative that Mike is this "based champion of the fans" when originally in 2013 or whenever the original censor happened he was a huge proponent of toning down the smutty themes of the game to make it more stage friendly at big tournaments. Hopefully this will be the last thing to be added and nothing else gets removed. I would really love to hear the excuses for changing the story mode (More than symbols were changed) and Bigband's backstory scene. If a comb can be removed from a brief burst animation and they change combo number names, then who's to say characters like Eliza and Double won't be removed or changed for stereotypical and religious imagery. Please just only add to your decade old crowdfunded games and don't go on huge hiatuses just so you can come back with a new name and screw with pre existing content. All you did was make the Skull Girls space uncertain and toxic when you made these changes. There would be way more positivity on all platforms if you only added to your game. Good luck with that well deserved lawsuit by the way. Make your own art instead of painting over someone else's. Ojala marie sea el final de skullgirls seria demasiado epico y genial, claro espero un final feliz y hasta me gustaria que fuera la historia mas larga del juego, antes yo pensaba que marie debería ser la última por que habian otros personajes interesantes como brain drain o panzerfaust pero en realidad ellos son innecesarios para la trama, que marie de cierre al juego seria lo mejor incluso (aunque sea mucho pedir) que tenga un boss fight totalmente nuevo como pelear contra las diosas (no necesariamente individualmente solo que esten las tres tipo marie pero con otros ataques) y ya si planean hacer algo mas pues me gustaria que fuera en un nuevo título aparte como skullgirls 2 o alguna seria/película, pero solo espero de que el final de marie sea el canon para que todo eso que hemos ido aprendiendo en las demas historias se desenvuelva aquí y den un cierre perfecto (es mas no me importaria que la historia sea tan buena con tal de que realmente sea importante y decisiva y que no sea como la de annie).

@@laxyout eso ya sería alargar el chicle, o skullgirls 2nd encore termina aquí, o sacan algo nuevo, no solo un modo historia de las diosas asiendo absolutamente nada pero igual peleandose con los demás personajes solo porque si (porque enserio no tienen cabida en los tipos de historia que cuenta skullgirls) yo espero de que esté termine con Marie por qué eso sería lo mejor el juego ya tiene 12 años, si van a hacer algo mejor que lo hagan en una secuela o en algo más.

Porque si las diosas no son destruidas, el ciclo continuará y si el ciclo es detenido ellas buscarán otra manera de destruir el mundo. Así que Marie apenas si pudo contener su voluntad no creo que sea posible que ella destruya a las diosas, además si terminan el juego aquí? De dónde van a mantener a SGM en línea? Y el SP 2? @@laxyout en realidad este es el season pass 2 por así decir, porque los primeros personajes DLC fueron beowulf, Big band, Eliza, robofortune, squigly y fukua no cuenta porque fue gratis si no mal recuerdo, si bien no fue un pase fueron DLC, además que yo sepa no existe el season pass 3 o 2 como sea, y lo de SM simplemente le sacan más variantes y ya porque hay paletas de colores que aún no se an usado como umbrella hat kid y cuando se les acaben le dan mantenimiento indefinido, además Marie puede derrotar perfectamente a las diosas porque sería ridículo que vaya sola y si no pues igual no habría nada más que contar porque nadie les podría ganar osea sería ilógico que el personaje más importante y el que supuestamente debería ser el más fuerte no pueda y un random si, o crees que las diosas se van a poner crazys y se van a matar entre ellas? Realmente no quiero seguir opinando sobre el tema porque aunque no sé cuántos años tienes ese es un razonamiento muy infantil y poco práctico y solo haría que la historia de Marie sea decepcionante y sin chiste, el season pass existe para darle un final al juego algo que nunca tuvo desde hace años, pero no te preocupes obviamente van a sacar algo mas porque por algo va a haber segunda temporada del comic (supuestamente) pero no creo que sea en 2nd encore además que sería lo mejor y más óptimo, te invito a que pienses un poco más en la situación y que ellos ya tenían varios bocetos de los personajes DLC menos black dahlia de antemano y que no es cosa fácil hacer otros chorro cientos personajes más jugables solo porque salen en la historia como el tiburón y si me dices que no quieres al tiburón o a otro que no tengan un diseño tan bueno como brain drain o panzerfaust entonces es porque quieres que pongan a tu personaje favorito y ya pero eso solo hubiera sido posible si Marie no hubiera sido el último personaje del pase, además piénsalo, el jefe final después de tanto tiempo jugable y encima como el último personaje anunciado en un pase que fue pensado para dar un final con un trailer de revelación en la Evo con un stage y un tema musical que representa el mismo juego mejor que nadie y que se la pasa diciendo “sere la última skullgirl" y que además tiene un espacio apartado de todos los demás personajes y que está hasta arriba en la selección de personajes. Es muy claro que puede ser un final perfecto, pero claro la gente nueva siempre quiere más, como alguien que lleva en el fandom casi 5 años puedo decir que lo mejor que nos pueden dar es un final digno con Marie y que está sea la línea canon que tanto se nos a estado anticipando desde los inicios y más recientemente con black dahlia, pero ya te dije si sale algo más no tiene porque ser necesariamente en 2nd encore o Mobile es mas hasta Mobile ya tiene 6 años, puede ser en algo nuevo y ahí talvez ya tengas eso que tanto quieres.

Sorry bro pero van a sacar más passes y con eso más personajes, este no es el fin para nada y creo que jamás habrá una línea cronológica canon con un final oficial al menos que no sé, dentro de 50 años hayan agregado a todos los personajes de la campaña que hicieron y ahí recién se les de la gana hacer algo así ¯⁠\⁠_⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠_⁠/⁠¯

@@gabrielvela1083 well, in june, the developers censor something in the game(like, change filla's pantsu from white to darker for every skin she has which is become more obvious instead, remove the logo on the parasoul and her army's shoulder), remove some fanarts, revamp big band's background, and etc, if i not wrong.
