If this is leading to a second character dlc pack, it's looking pretty good for the future, with Minette and Brain Drain playable I would be completely satisfied with the final roster. I just wish it didn't take years, but I get it, it takes so much effort for this game to feel and look as polished and balanced as it does

@@octopig1243 You’re right, but I just don’t see them undoing all the changes they made to Umby when their whole goal with these recent updates was to rework Umby. I hope things turn out good with the guest stars, but if they can be made playable in the future, what do they mean by that? Are they going to appear in a hypothetical Skullgirls 2? Or are they going to just reuse the assets they made for the character when they go playable? If it’s the latter, I’m unsure why they’re doing all these extra steps, let alone for mobile.

He will be an assist in Mobile, and guest stars are a means of testing character models to see how they could implement them into full on playable characters.

The only appropriate way they could include these new assists in 2nd Encore is if the characters that perform these assists all end up being playable characters in the future, so that the assist goes along with the playable character, like a burger and fries. I genuinely hope that this will be the case and they’re just doing this to distract us in the meantime while they’re working on Season Pass 2.
