Wrestler X is a good variant for this fight since he gains health and inflicts bleed when hype mode is activated Cold Stones is also another good choice because his throws have a chance of stunning the enemy and preventing them from using their unblockable blockbuster And last but not least,Hype Man is one that can be used for his hype mode activation drains the enemy’s blockbuster meter by 10%

Wulfbane also a good choice to counter Weekend Warrior cause his Throw has a chance to inflicts heal block on the enemy

Beo node has been significantly nerfed since the making of the video, but I still had the most trouble with it just due to time constraints. Finally finished with all of the story for now, let's hope we get a new chapter with Marie this year

bring wrestler x with lupine pummel and a tag out (the others are optional do not use them just put them for stats %HP is highly recommended here) build hype mode with launchers (two hits and aerial combo) and grabs spam lupine pummel only with hype mode activated dont kill dark might force him to tag out if dragon brawler tags in kill him if weekend warrior tags in hit him untill he activates his SA then tag him out i finished this node with a golden wrestler x of 4.6k points you can do it man

It took alot of will, luck, and effort (and some theonite), but I was actually able to beat the Beowulf node with just one of my Cold Stones, no Wrestler X needed! Chalk another gaming accomplishment off my list. Now if only I had a fire Eliza (at the time of writing this) so that I can fully complete the chapter. Waiting for her prize fight it shall be then...

I wonder if beowolf has lupin pummel that are basically unblockable why doesn't it say so on the move description?

While Lupine Pummel is a command grab, it can be beaten by an opposing blockbuster's invincibility frames, which is why the move is not considered "unblockable" by the UI. Lupine Pummel also does not have the long startup of a BB3 and can be evaded by the Evasion buff, while a BB3 can't be evaded.

the things is dark might can instant defeat an opponent with 35% chance (max upgrade) when using a tier 3 blockbuster after dropping below 50% health, so you could theoretically get a dark might and just let yourself be injured and then combo for a tier 3 blockbuster and bypass the 1% max damage per hit by just instant killing the opponent

also using a tier 3 blockbuster (unless dark might as explained above) is a pretty bad idea in this node, as the 1% max damage and the generally low and slow combo count of the tier 3 blockbusters means there effectively a time waster and probably do way less damage then say a regular combo would do, I haven't done this node yet but when I get up to it I'd probably equip the taunt to get 1 hype and haste, a arm sweep for the bleed, a wulf shoot for a free hype and the lupin and getaish on wrestler x and use the them when hype mode is on to stack bleed

Jordan Russell Keep in mind that you did not have to deal with Weekend for Beo node like I did. When Weekend was on this node you pretty much had to play perfectly to not time out. Also your whole analysis kind of falls apart for this fight because it is gold only when Dark Might is a nat diamond and therefore unable to be used there

So this fight was updated a while back. The Weekend Warrior was replaced with a Freedom Fighter, and as such Wrester X is not required to beat the fight anymore (but he is still the optimal option for sure)

Wulfsbane is ok for the modern day version of the Beo node, but back when Weekend Warrior was on it and had gotten his buffed SA Wrester X was basically a requirement rather than being merely optimal

Oof 43 minutes, also how to corner loop efficiently?

To corner loop you have to attack the enemy Beo as he is getting up. Back dashing once before the D1 helps with the timing. Combo enders that can maintain the loop include J3 into D1 and sweep, Geatish Trepak(not the hype mode version), and Lupine Pummel. If the loop is mistimed and the AI starts blocking attacks you can use a command grab BB to get back into a loopable position. To really understand what is going on here I would highly recommend that you watch the video and closely study what the loop looks like in fine detail.

I kept losing because I would mess up the corner loop, which would result in me losing a character to a BB3 and then timing out because the opposing BB3 ate up precious seconds

Why not just tag out the weekend warrior before he activates hype, and so denying him the heal and immunity?

He will just build up hype passively in the back while you wail away on the other two and then be able to pop it anyway. It is better to get him below 50% to pop his SA1's guaranteed max hype thing and then tag him out once the buffs go off

The Wulfsbane heal block doesn't really help against Weekend when Weekend has the buffs up because one of the buffs Weekend gets when he pops hype mode is immunity and Weekend removes debuffs from himself before getting the buffs

First, this fight is a lot easier now compared to when this video came out. Second, Wrestler X is the optimal choice for this fight but any Beo can do it using Gigan Arm Sweep for bleeds
