I've always wondered why I liked Spanish music so much but listening to this made me realize it. Spanish music is a beautiful blend of classic western European and eastern Arabic/Moorish influences. I always was curious as to why it sounded a bit different than traditional European music but I couldn't put my finger on it exactly. Thanks Civ!

I'm nearing fluency in Spanish and conversational in French. They are indeed very similar, but French grammar is a bit closer to English. However Spanish was much, much easier to to learn for me. They have a lot of things in common, but French makes about the same amount of sense as English does. Spanish is incredibly beautiful and it's my favorite language to use, as each rule is actually followed. Spanish is in some ways more difficult because of the sheer amount of land it covers, though.

Spain is probably my most played Civ. Their unique ability is entirely dependent on luck, but if you do get lucky you just get to swim in gold early game.

I don't know.Isabella always gets steamrolled.In each game.Most times it's the other civs that take (almost) all of her cities.Par example,in my latest game ,as Babylon,she was on the second continent,with the huns which took her capital and Barcelona like in medieval times.Then,a few eras later,I came over there because I got mad at the second continent for voting against me in World Congress so I started exterminating them one by one.And when it came to take her last city,Seville it was more tragic than funny.She only had 1 Crossbowman.I had tanks.Guess who won that game?

Same in my game mate, I'm playing as England and the French invaded Spain back in 950BC, I liberated the Spanish from France and the British/Spanish Alliance has ladted up to 1990's (where I am right now)

Most of Spain was reconquered by the 12th century. Muslim Spain continued to deteriorate until the end of the 15th century. For the last 200 years Granada was a tributary state - it was more profitable to collect tribute from them for 200 years than to conquer them.
