KA’s are pain to bleed the system. I used the spill funnel to bleed it like you did and it wasn’t enough. I had to crack open the bleeder screw on the upper hose.

Just how KA's are. I constantly make sure my s13 is pretty and working properly but the second i touch the radiator its an entire week of temp spikes and releasing air bubbles.

Bleeding the ka is a totally nightmare lmao. Just did mine not to long ago same thing happened. Glad that you were able to fix it. Just watch for your temp make sure its around 80-90.

Just know when you put a bigger core radiator and no thermostat that it will flow so fast that the coolant will not have enough time to cool in the radiator and will cause overheating issues. That’s why you should install a lower temp thermostat to aide with overheating

I know you probably did but make sure you crack the bleeder screw by the top radiator hose to make sure there isn’t an air bubble caught by the temp gauge sensor

Typical KA's bro, my best advice would be using vacuum refill kit when refilling the KA with coolant. It ensures no air goes in the system. Also highly recommend using Nissan OEM thermostat or Mishimoto lower temp stat, ive had both and both open unlike autozone, orileys, pepboys; never did for me. Just my .02 cents ✌️

I really recommend doing a good coolant flush my KA was running hot and after that it ran so much better turned out my heater core was clogged.
