For those who wished Skurd would’ve appear more often in the show, I highly recommend the fanfic “Ben 10 Guardians” by Shadow_DJ. It is a retelling of Omniverse with the tone of the UAF era. Aside from the fact that Ben and Julie remain together in this continuity, the fanfic still follows the main arcs in the canon show with some changes and original episodes in between. One of these changes is Skurd’s involvement in the fanfic. He actually appears in the “Season 1” in an alliance with Kyber and Psychobos only to be captured in the end. As early as “Season 2”, Skurd reforms and joins Ben much earlier than in canon which leads to more interactions with the two. Skurd’s power were somewhat changed. Instead of making DNA items, he can infuse some aspects of an alien into Ben’s transformations (i.e coating Cannonbolt’s ball form with Diamondhead’s crystals). Please, I highly recommend reading this fanfic. Besides BenxJulie still being a thing, this fanfic expands on the show’s lore as well as reutilizing almost every character from across the franchise. While story currently hasn’t been updated due to the author’s writer’s block, it’s still a good read and the intended plans for future stories a worth being invested in. As someone who recently finished Omniverse for the first time a few days ago, Skurd was a very pleasant surprise. At first, I thought he was going to be a one or two episode character, but I was surprised he stayed until almost the very end!

I honestly expected Ben to turn into a Skurd species of alien at the end. Since he was connected to the Omnitrix and it does have the DNA scanner to create new aliens. It would also be hillarious to see ben-skurd on Albedo for a battle, where he instead; weakens his omnitrix so even when he transforms afterwards; all his aliens would be the weaker-state of their base design. Like say he became an Upgrade; it would look like malware. (Like a negative Ultimate form).
