I think I may know why the grass on the way to monarch room is weird, because the last 2 pieces of grass are swapped out once you get monarch wings for a version that isnt blowing in the wind. So 2 are probably the windy ones, and the other 2 the regular

It is worth noting, grasses is a word, though it is primarily used in botany. A collection of a single species of grass is just more grass (it's a collective noun as well as a singular noun, because English is silly!), but a collection of different species of grasses are grasses, because it could include pampus grass and wheat grass and ryegrass and bluegrass (yes, it's not just a music subgenre). What makes it worse is that your lawn is grass but is also likely made up of several grasses! Fish is the same way - a school of herring is a school of fish, but when that school is attacked by predators, there are many different fishes (as well as birds and non-fish swimming things like dolphins) that join the feeding frenzy. (And if you've not seen it, look up "bait ball" - it's truly an impressive display.)
