Hi - I’ve enjoyed your videos. Thanks. I have an 1965 Olympia SF in perfect condition - except for a too loud ratchety sounding noise when returning the carriage. Is there a way to adjust that?

Normally I prefer videos without music playing. However, in this case, both the song itself as well as the volume of the music complimented the content perfectly. Nice Olympia by the way.

I just found one of these at a yard sale for $5. Looks like it was hardly ever used! Now I just gotta figure out what I am going to do with it. Mine is beige and green And says "De Lux" on it in the spot where yours just says "S"

acoustic guitar, upright bass, ukulele, and a little bit of banjo & piano. i grew up singing in the choir at church, and have been writing music for decades, mostly old style country & bluegrass

Well, no, yeah, no. The SF [early] with the manual flip-up wire paper rest, and no plastic type-line cards, and metal ribbon spool drive is my favorite, in BLACK with WHITE keytops and platen knobs. It would be nice to have a couple, one in standard font, and one in Script/Cursiv font! Brilliant design, carried on right through the Splendids and TdLs with only minor changes and Mask Mutations!
