*Yo Mr. VintageMinicio, Here's a tip for Chance Cubes:* By using a Gold Block and lapis you can make some Pendants which will increase the odds of Chance Cubes. By using more lapis on the Pendants you can buff this effect further. The pendent tiers are +10, +25, +50, +100. These effects also stack with multiple pendants. Things I've gotten from from Chance Cubes with pendants: Nether Stars, Charms of Dislocation, Water Bedrockium Drum, Ender Flux Crystals, Sextuple-Compressed Cobblestone, and much, much more. You can also make a Giant Chance Cube by buiding a 3x3x3 out of them (27 Chance Cubes).

Beef I know this is end game stuff. But if you were to get a Big Reactor and produce tons of power, you could do the following: -Set up a 7x7 of minicio with the farming station in the centre. -Have a Tesseract above the Farming station receiving power from the Big Reactor and sending the farmed items to the AE System. -Have 10 - 15 Growth Pulse Accelerator blocks under each minicio block in your farm. This is what I have going in my world, if you leave it over night you will have around 50k Minicio. I currently have 379k.

Also you can have the same set up for a yellorite essense farm to fuel your big reactor so you will never run out of power.

beef, when the solar generator has no Redstone signal, it will collect energy but it won't transfer it into other devices. when you give the generator a Redstone signal it will transfer the power into other devices but it will stop generating power. there is no way to generate power and transfer it at once so my suggestion is to put a daylight sensor next to the generator so that it will generate during the day and transfer it's power at night. this way of generating power becomes more efficient as you make higher tier solar generators. Hope this helps keep up the good work :)

That particular solar generator requires a redstone signal to output its store. It can't output and generate at the same time i.e. it's almost completely useless. Place a lever next to it and flip it once the generator becomes full to dumps its energy into the leadstone cell. Alternatively, use the solar panels from the Solar Flux mod. They're much easier to create and are able to generate and output at the same time. They are the only power sources I use when I play modpacks like this, the higher-tier ones are able to generate massive amounts of energy that I've not even made full use of yet.

Best thing is that the generator SAYS it needs a redstone signal to charge things right in the info panel and Beef's been looking at that panel for minutes. But as usual: he only looked at the bright red charge bar and ignores the written instructions 😏

Beef make a 7x7 area of dirt with the farming station in the middle and a tinkers construct tool preferably a mattock with fortune on it to double the output of any crop. ask etho how to put fortune on it its just with lapis. Next you make an automous activator and put it two blocks higher facing downwards toward the farming station set the setting to right click only and top left slot only and then put your watering can in so it will automatically water the crops. i would advised to work for the reinforced watering can its alot faster growing the crops. Finally power dont use the solar one you have now use the other one that looks like a slab its alot easier to use!

I'm not sure if I did this right but I think you need 1024 minicio essence for 1 diamond seed, not to mention the cost of the various infusion stones!!! Great episode as usual beef btw.

You need to give the solar a redstone signal for it to transmit energy. It says so in the GUI.

Beef, apply a redstone signal to the solar generator to transmit power to your cell. turn off the redstone signal to generate power, rinse and repeat.

Beef, the solar generator you are using is the most unefficient thing I have found in Sky Factory so far: it can generate power and output power, but NOT both at the same time like most other generators. If you want constant, cheap power, try the solar panels from Solar Flux, they are WAY more efficient, even the low-tier ones.

I commented the exact same thing on his last episode. In theory it is possible to automate solar generators, but it would probably need a complicated redstone contraption to do that. I think 3 solar panels II or 1 solar panel III is enough to make the farming station work constantly. It may not be cheaper, but definitely easier than trying to work with this solar generator.

Yeah, these generators are not the greatest. In my own custom mod-pack I set up a hopper-redstone-clock and a daylight sensor to get the power out of these guys.

Beef, if you make a mattock from Tinkers Construct and you add fortune to it. When you use that to harvest your grown minicio crops, you get multiple seeds instead of just one. Like I can start with 1 redstone seed and end up with 3 when I harvest it.

beef you need to make a reinforced watering can it will do the following: help etho with the farm you need to make unstable ingots from the activated sigil then make an sword with the unstable ingots. put it in your crafting grid and it will permanently take 1 heart then look up the crafting recipe for the reinforced watering can and follow it. it will increase your minicio output by 20 times what you normally get being that it is many times faster

I've posted this a couple of times before but i guess i'll keep doing it until 1 of you reads it... it's about the chance cubes/icasehedrons First of all, those luck pendants stack and work on both the cubes and the icasehedrons. they have to be in your inventory and will lose durability with each cube you break/ icasehedron you activate. you can check the luck of a cube with a chance cube checker which you also get from loot bags. the luck factor can go from -100 (bad) to +100 ("good" as in no explosions or traps). it is best that you upgrade the pendants to its final level. if you have 2 tier 4 chance pendants(+100 luck each) in your inventory when activating the chance cube/icasehedron your luck will always be 100. you can get useful items from them so it's always good to use them but mostly you'll get discs with a weird soundtrack on ( which aren't that usefull) items that might be usefull from those chance cubes/icasehedrons at +100 luck: - diamond block - divine sword (19.5 attack damage. sharpness X/unbreaking X/ durability : 2)> repair it with 1 diamond and 38 levels it's worth it - enchantment table ( could be handy for making chunk loaders) - nether stars - draconium nugget ( extremely rare) - charm of dislocation - bedrockium drum full of water ( empty it and you have a free bedrockium drum)

Beef read the text in the UI of the solar generator. Must apply redstone signal to TRANSMIT power. You've probably opened that interface 40 times by now trying to figure out the problem and it's right there every time you open it. =D

Hey, you are using the farming station wrong. You are suppose to put it in the middle of all the crops. It will have a 7x7 range centered around itself. That means that it will reach 3 blocks away in each direction. Btw that range can be increased to 11x11 and 15x15 by using capacitors. Because of its range you are wasting a lot of the area it could be farming by placing it on the outside of the tilled area. The design you are planning, the four 7x7 squares, won't work. Don't use that solar generator unless you want to setup some redstone to automate it. You might want to use a Sterling Generator with an octadic capacitor in it. It's extremely efficient and will produce more than enough power for the farming station. If you optimize that minicio setup you could exploit the mod to get practically infinite resources easily. Build a 3x3x3 of chance cubes and you get s large chance cube. These spawn large environment domes, pillars of ore, and some times massive amounts of molten metals. So do it a long way from your island

Beef... make imperio seeds. You can down craft them into the lower essences as needed. Will speed things up quite a bit.

It looks like Beef needs an ungodly amount of Minicio Essence, so maybe he should fill another plot of dirt with Minicio crops. He needs a tier 4 crop to make gold seeds, right, and it takes 4 essence of the current tier to make 1 essence of the next? So to make 1 gold seed, Beef needs...256 Minicio Essence, which is 4 stacks. And that's for 1 seed. I think his plots of dirt have columns of 8? So Beef would need 32 stacks of Minicio Essence to fill a column with gold seeds. He's got a good thing going with his Crucio Hoe, but damn, it looks like he needs even more. On a second look, maybe even a third plot. It looks like he has plots of 4x8, so 32 crops, and he gets 3 essence per Minicio crop with the hoe? Harvesting all 32 crops at once would give Beef a stack and a half of Minicio Essence. Harvesting 3 full 4x8 plots gives 4.5 stacks, which is enough for a tier 4 seed with some left over.

You must apply a redstone signal to it and it will transmit all of its power into the nearest receiver. Alternately, use a transfer node for energy. Either works.

So, correct me if I'm wrong people that knows modded, but if beef were to make the next stage of Seeds instead of continusly rely on minicio (the most basic seed) he'd save about a billion play hours? as I understand it if he'd for instance make the Imperio seed he'd save 3074 minicio each time he harvests that seed. OR he could farm 1024 minicio from his basic plants and turn them step by step into imperio essence? Math done by this: Each step requires 4 essence of the previous plant surrounding that orb thingie so Minicio x4 = 1 x essence of next step (still need 4 for next step after that) so 16 minicio to start with. Then for the next step after the second he'd need 16x4=64 minicio then for the next step after the third he'd need 64x4=256 minicio and lastly for one imperio he'd need 1024 minicio per imperio essence 3074 is counted as an average of 3 essence gained when harvesting with his magic hoe (3x1024=3074). TL;DR Upgrade the seeds beefers D= lest you'll be grinding untill your legs fall off.

It's actually not that great. The Flux-infused is much better, and the Draconic Armor seems to be the best. The only thing Zivicio grants worth noting is creative flight.

I'd love to see you evolve to dragging items around in the crafting grid rather than clicking every individual item; and I'd love to see you utilize the question mark button when looking up recipes in NEI.
