I'm a Japanese guy whose hobby is composing music and subscribe to his channel. The reason why I wrote this song with a Japanese character is because I think the melody is one that Japanese people really like. It has a beautiful and majestic sound and is very comfortable to listen to. thank you.

Absolutely phenomenal stuff, Holland. I can hear all your inspirations in here with what you said in the description, but I can absolutely hear your style and your love of fantasy worlds coming out. So much lovely strings counterpoint, fantastic orchestration with interjections from brass, and a piece that really tells a story. It's fantastic and a perfect, inspirational way to cap off my composition walk I took this morning myself! :-)

@@HollandAlbright Haha, just when I go out for a walk and compose or sketch ideas in my notebook! The weather's getting nicer out and walking helps my brain move faster when composing, I guess! I think hearing all the wonderful music you've produced for orchestra over the past several months has also made me realize how much I've missed it and want to write for it again too :P

🔥 Also reading your description, Skyward Sword was actually one of my fav Zelda games, aside from the gameplay itself. Gets a bad wrap.

@@HollandAlbright You're welcome. I'm just curious about the way you export the file from the notation program to DAW. I'm wondering if it will work for MuseScore to Cubase in my situation.

Just saw this! 😅 I export each instrument's MIDI individually. Then drag/drop the MIDI to the individual instruments in the DAW.

You ought to fiddle with a timpani on some of these big build ups, see if it sounds right to you.

I like timpani and it's always part of my score template when I begin writing, but I didn't feel it was necessary for this piece, so I left it out.
