Sky Force 2014 stage 9 nightmare

A run through Stage 9 of SkyForce 2014 - on nightmare difficulty. Not a great run - a few mistakes and not enough shield drops to get all enemies.

I think that hack (and others like it) kinda miss the point - don't you? The game is pretty nicely balanced - doesn't involve too much grinding (and maybe that grinding learns you something). Even after the hack there's still the progression - medals, cards, etc - you need to do - in order to see / play the best action. The star hack makes the rest of the game a bit of a hollow experience. And its doesn't take _that_ long to get maxed out - I think it took me about 7 hrs game time on the Steam version of this - 11 hrs to get to max cards, 12 hrs to get all medals (up to insane only for PC/Steam) - good fun - and worth the money IMO Cheers

Jacob Jimenez That's in-game time, spread over several days/weeks. The iOS version was spread over a couple of months - esp with new stages being added.

Jacob Jimenez You need to have at least 5 friends - with that you will get access to the tournaments that happen at weekends (start Fri night). To get friends, go to Leaderboard (in Sky Force 2014 or via GameCentre), tap on a person in the leaderboard and then 'Send Friend Request' - the recipient can accept/reject. insanity82007 Its been a while since I played, but I reckon I could save a shield at an earlier point and if I get another one then I could get all enemies, rescues, stars - but the no damage would be lost.

Also sounds like it would be doable if you got an extra shield drop later on. Guess it depends on the run though. I've had some incredible drop rates on some runs where I'll blow up 5 crates and get 2 mega's and a combination of shields and lasers for the other 3 crates. Other times I'll get nothing...

Stage 8 nightmare is possibly harder than stage 9 imo - not playing as much now (stuck on 45,267,000), but will try to record.

Those are some pretty neat skills. A couple of questions, though - What's up with the black plane and how come it auto heals? Cards? Or is it something else? I've somewhat reached a Road Block with cards. I just don't get any, anymore and I've still got some 5 odd left...

JoyMaker Ah, thanks. That helped. Looks like I have some more grinding to do. Managed to max my plane out, but now I need the cards. Any advice you'd offer on that front? Also, do you have any idea if the Night Camouflage has any practical applications apart from the coolness factor?

***** Stage 5 & 6 on insane give high drop-rates I think - its been a while for me. Night Camouflage, as far as I know, does nothing apart from change the colour.

Shreyan M Hi - I used AirSquirrels Reflector (v1) for this - recording to a Mac from iPad. Good quality - but some skips - not sure why. Seems more reliable/consistent than AirServer. Haven't tried Reflector 2 yet.

JoyMaker I use Bandicam which works really well and is a light software (not too taxing on your PC). Just download the bandicam free version then the "Keymaker" crack file. The Keymaker will register the free version into the pro version. I've recently used this to record Star Conflict Online and Asphalt 8 Airborne

I don't know if someone has commented on this but I got literal nightmare on level 5. How did you guys get rid of that "flying shiny" dot at the early stage of level 5? I'm currently at level 7. Help!!

Sujardin Syarifuddin You can't get rid of it - once it hits you its just a case of avoiding the bullets ;) If you manage to avoid it for the whole level - and kill all the towers then you get one of the special achievements. I've done this on insane - as have others - see kzbin.info/www/bejne/i3_Yeoprl8qmgMk but getting 100% towers on nightmare is hard - I've not manged it.

Tony Anderson Black craft is one of the later cards - called 'camoflage' but it doesn't do anything as far as I can tell. Dual (more frequent) missile is just part of the hanger upgrades on missile - I'm maxed out

Daniel Dean Are you on Steam? I'm on iOS here - and the Steam version on Windows has the ship move noticably slower - could that be it? It could also be a side-effect of the fact that it is being recorded - maybe some frames are being missed out - I think its at 30fps - Otherwise - I don't think there's anything special about me - but maybe my use of a stylus and the fact that I know exactly where I'm going next makes it appear quicker. ??

+Redhoppy I'm not an expert, but I think its likely you'll lose something. Some data is held in iCloud but not all. For example, I have different number of stars on each device, but upgrades, cards and difficulty medals are shared.

After you've maxed your ship you don't spend as much so you tend to collect lots of stars - so no - I've not cheated on any way.
