All of your music helps me envision something along the lines of a movie trailer for my novel saga. It is still a work in progress and I'm almost done with three thick novels to start this saga out. The genre is GRIM and heavily sci-fi. The characters are animal people. Bipedal, or four-legged, and they can get beastly. I give many of these characters unique abilities and I write long and epic battles full of rage and claws and desperation. To get more in-depth, the civilization in my books need protection from civilization-ending monsters, but that protection comes at a steep price. The only thing the giver of providence cares for, for this bustling metropolis to let live on the king's front lawn, is the meat on their bones. The Life-Tax has turned this continent in my story, into a livid nightmare. Factions sabotage each other, monsters are made out of the citizens, and progress gets cut down at every turn. This cycle of sacrifice and blood is a distraction and will be civilization's downfall as the very thing they all seek protection from returns. As I listen to your music, I see my characters in an instant of their story. A rabbit foot slamming down to split open the foundation of a city. A lion roaring searing hot light at a formation of shark pirates blockading the lion's zeppelin fleet. A honey-badger clambering up the legs and torso of a beast twice his height to thrash long claws through vitals. A behemoth wolf, turned into a slithering, toothy amalgamation skittering and clawing through a glowing forest after his prey. A series of glowing lenses between two and thirty feet in diameter, swiftly lighting up and machinery focusing on the lone reptile clinging to the behemoth's arm. Not just combat stuff. I also see the youth in my story playing tag or comforting siblings. I see a character drawing their dreams. I see the kitchen staff of rabbits busy with feeding their 85 family members. I see revolutionary rats giving each other confident looks. I see towering soldiers sharing a beer. You've even helped me figure out precisely how I am going to end this story. Between you and two other artists. My books, if I write this well enough with my limited intellect, I'm going to change the world for generations. So, thank you. If I can just get out of this retail job and find the time to finish.

The story in my mind was a little fractured - it was always a little distorted by the change of music - I think I expected something completely different! Not in a bad way though! I like it when music is experimental:)
