This is really something Great America needed! Looks great in that plot of land! Also, I work at Cedar Point now, but Great America was my home park for the first 20-something years of my life, and this video is making me miss this park SO much!

I LOL'ed when Lauren said, "Our friendship is over after this!" I rode it on Sunday. It is definitely the most intense ride in the park. But to be clear, it is NOT a spinning ride; you slowly rotate, which gives different perspectives as you swing. You will get vertigo, which just makes it more fun.

Best ride and equal to Raging Bull! You'll love it. You'll wait in line for about 60-90 min but its soooo worth the wait. 40 people go on it at a time and it takes up to 10 min per group to get on and off. If you can wait in line for the Batman ride then you definitely can wait for this one.

I'd be okay except for the fact that we know that harnesses like those have a habit of maybe sometimes possibly... unlatching. Do they have a secondary restraint system, like a simple lap belt in addition to the harness? Cause if that harness comes open somehow (like happened on a drop ride in Orlando), there is no way in hell a person would be able to hang on and stay there, not with those G-forces. And if that happened, no way they could make it slow down quickly. Gravity sux sometimes. Gonna give this one a pass.

So me too!! Hell, I've ridden the front and back of Raging Bull and front of Goliath... but I REFUSE to ride stuff like this, The Lobster, Ricochet, River Rocker ( im ABSOLUTELY terrified of) and Condor lol

It’s ridiculous that they “don’t have an opening date. There are 12 Saturdays including tomorrow that I’ll have a chance to ride this before the end of summer…..

This was my first 2024 visit for Six Flags and I saw all the signs for media day at Sky Striker I might have just missed a Marcus sighting!!!

the best describe a giant pendulum ride is a giant swing set at the playground I can't wait to ride it when I go next week

I've ridden similar types at Cedar Point and Kings Island. Sky Striker apparently is even faster and higher than either. It's a ton of fun!

My current home park is Magic Mountain so I've been on Crazanity. The ride cycle seems pretty consistent with what we have here. Try Sky Striker at night when you get the chance. :)

Also I’ll say I hate spinning, I can’t even do teacups. But these rides are amazing!! Really excited as I’ve been on two other ones

Teacups make me so nauseous nowadays lol. However the absolute worst things for me are things that loop upside down. roller coasters are okay but the flat rides...oh boy went to the Wisconsin State Fair and I stupidly went on three of them in a row. Huge mistake lmao
