"Skydiving, oh that's so scary. I can never do skydiving."
You realise that you're about to fall from a freaking plane, 10000 ft above the sea level. You are an acrophobic who get scared from even 10 metres of height. The gate opens, you look down, and it scares the bejesus out of you. You are terrified as hell because you've never felt that level of fear until now. You start pondering at your decision of skydiving, wanting to go back home. Suddenly, the diver pushes you, and you fall. You're just praying to land safely. You look down, and you embrace how beautiful the Earth is; the oceans, the clouds, the farms, and you feel a beam of light passing through your body from a huge yet tiny glowing star. In that moment, you realise that there is really nothing to be scared of. The world looks magnificent as you're soaring through the heavens, embracing the exhileration of defying gravity. Suddenly you feel that the point of maximum danger is the point of minimum fear. You finally touch down on the solid ground, and you're undergoing a profound sense of euphoria and gratitude.
Well, 'You' was me, and I can say that I proved myself wrong.
