+Zach Dahm The Irish guy has the best lines. I've watched 30 minutes and I've already heard "The Canadians stretched like spandex on Miami Beach", "Orgasmic offense there from the U.S", and "This game as lively as a cheerleader on a trampoline". Can I pay him to narrate my life?

I am just one point into this match and I already want these announcers to call every game I ever watch again.

27:05 - the Canadian superstar has an unambiguously valid greatest attempt - jumps huge from in bounds, releases the disc well before landing. So many greatests are actually revealed on replay to be ob when thrown (i.e. landed ob before release), it's nice to see the kids jumping and just owning the sky generally.

Nice to see that spirit timeout call - really toned down some of the physical play.
I feel like this game had some unbelievably good plays, but the spirit from the US was atrocious. 1:30:08 (reckless contact) 1:42:15 (intentionally? trips player) 1:34:00 (belly flops on player)

+Daniel Weinstein Dalton wasn't even looking at the Canadian player... very intentional.

At 1:18:00, Christian Johnson was right, although I totally disagreed with the call at first sight. The defender placed his opposite arm on Johnson's catching arm. Plain and simple - that's not incidental.

I've been playing for fun for years. Tomorrow I'm playing in a real tournament and I came here to see the difference in technique. Other than the stack, I don't see a difference in play that happens in lower levels of play.
@quintonmorris117 жыл бұрын
Ryder Draconis Well, it's still the same sport after all.
@stevenp42307 жыл бұрын
The real difference of play comes in the throwers abilities to break the mark and the ability of cutters to get open against tough defenders. In lower levels of play you dont see many plays like what Chatha did and you dont see the proliferation of players who are able to break the mark with ease so frequently.

Bullshit call by Team USA at 10-8
@zannong33767 жыл бұрын
Honestly the Canadians have rubbish calls and really a lot of contact. To the point they even hold the hands of the handler after they got the disc through traffic
