The "keys in her hand" part always gets my attention. I have PTSD and have experiences, but that keys comment reminds me of when I was little and my mother told me to always hold your keys between your fingers in a fist so they can make make-shift claws just in case you get jumped in the parking lot. My brother never had to learn that. I look back now and realize us girls are sort of trained to expect things. Getting harassed in school or work and getting blamed by how you dress, not the guys' actions. Just to add to that, I wasn't even 10 yet when my mom taught me how to use keys as a weapon. Sadly, not everyone has their keys on their person all the time.
