It seems that Moonbug is now officially the subcontractor for spinoff material, which is good while Guru is busy with a new style. As for Fire Rescue, in terms of equipment, I personally predict we'll see a lot that ties to realistic fire theory. This is considering how Spin Master and Nickelodeon are wanting to appeal the show to a broader and older audience. Also, there is an early season episode where Alex wants to get a scouting badge that involves fire safety, so we can expect that to evolve. Therefore, I do think there would be firefighting foam involved instead of just water as well the usage of fire extinguishers rather than just water cannons. We can expect Marshall working as, well, a fire marshal, inspecting a building for fire safety standards. We might even see inadvertant fires being started like electrical faults or simple negligence.

@TheOz91, That could be that theory, but since Fire Rescue comes out in Fall 2025, (since I'll be 15 and 3 quarters), I think the sub-series will take place in New York City and will have a big fire station right behind it, just like from the Ghostbusters movies.

I seem to remember Rocky used something of an extinguisher in the first ultimate fire rescue episode but I believe it was something from his pup pack... And we've not seen a true fire extinguisher 🧯 used by the pups in the show...just the Jr. Patrollers in the second movie... Fire is hard to animate even for gamers who do firefighting simulators... But I know a lot of us older fans would love to see Marshall put on a full set of turnout gear covering him frim head, to ears, to tail with an air tank and mask over his face or SCBA as the Firefighters call it...and say...."it's time for this fire pup to become a fire dog!" Before going into a blazing building to rescue someone inside and out the fire out!

Yeah, I was thinking the same! Also, in "Pups Save the Hum-Flectors", we saw fire (that endangered others) for the first time since Marshall's 2nd Ultimate Rescue!

Wow, Moonbug's animation is better than the main series? To be fair.. the main series is done on a PBS-level budget, after all (TVOntario, a public broadcaster in Ontario, is co-producer with GURU & Spin Master, after all) - they have a limited budget for doing 26 half-hours a year.

Another reason is Guru hasn't really updated they're animation style very much, since the series began, whereas Moonbug does quite advanced animation. Also, Moonbug could be spending more on animation, since the shorts are only around 2 minutes versus the series' episodes being 12 minutes.

My hopes for fire rescue is.for Marshall to get a full on bunker gear uniform that covers him from head to ears to tail with a air pack and mask have a attack line ir hose stretched from his fire truck to his pup pack and have him looking at a worjing structure fire and say..."time for this fire pup to become a fire dog!" Before going inside and saveing someone and extinguishing the fire!
