i really enjoy the cinematic shots but honestly if i had to pick between the replay and distance mods, i’d pick distance 10/10 times. i love it when you’re super high up on a mountain and you can see forever, and since you’re planning to have lots of mega builds spanning out across the entire world it would make stuff way easier to find, plus it makes for some super cool horizon shots!! fantastic video as always, i’m already loving this new series 🩷

The cinematic shots are lovely. And, yes to the movie reviews. But, honestly, what made me subscribe is both your humorous comments when you're fighting mobs and also your builds like sky block and the 100 days on the raft. I like when you're problem solving builds or mods right with us. It's organic--the whole thing, including your jokes. It sets your channel apart and reminds me of the joy of just gaming, not just creating epic builds. No other channel gets me wanting to game like that. Stay frosty.

so one good 1.21 bit, the villager trade rebalance is only in experimental, you don't have to worry about it unless you intentionally add it also there is a fabric mod that lets you use name tags to change a villager to different biome variants, and far as i know it works, the modpack i was testing it on kinda became crash happy and i'm still not sure what mod did it

actually, i really like the idea of spreading out how you can get the trade is. But the problem is we dont really get any method to know where the rest of the biome unless using some mods or a site like chunkbase.

34:47 the reason they're gathering at the trap doors is because they see it as if there wasn't anything there. If you put a trap door on top and on the bottom of the inside of the doorway you can crouch your way in and out And I don't think baby villagers can walk through it

Cinematic and pov shots are fun, I just like watching you having fun and doing things and having you as background noise when i make lace / work on my thesis. The mini movie reviews are also fun. Also you being in survival is much less stressful to observe, then I know nothing much can go terribly wrong so you are easier to relax to. The very relaxing music (guitar?? country??) you have in the background is also very pleasant. If you decide to use more / different mods then go wild, all that matters is that you are having fun. I find your usual self enjoyable to observe as some stranger on the internet who will likely never encounter you. The subtitles are as ever a great addition. Perhaps my only point of backseat gaming, if you will allow me it, is to bring an ender chest along for extra storage and on hand resources. I personally view them as an early shulker box since you seemed averse to using the backpack mod (at least by 55:55 in the video which is the time I'm writing this comment).

I have to admit, I actually prefer the POV over the cinematics, because I feel like it's more immersive that way. The cinematic shots almost feel like I've been bumped *out* of the game rather than playing it vicariously, which is what I normally feel when watching your videos. Also, I would definitely love the movie and show reviews to carry over to here as well. I love them, and they're actually really helpful in deciding what to watch. Additional also, just thought I'd point out, if you like Shogun and you're into reading books in addition to manga, Shogun is actually based on the book by James Clavell. He had a whole series, if I remember right. My dad used to have one of the books sitting in a bureau at the top of our stairs when I was little, but he always said not to bother reading it because it was too bloody and I'd hate it XD

The way to fix the nether bug with no fortresses (never had the bug myself) would be to either delete the nether files from the server files and reset the nether or failing that, start a new world, enter the nether to generate the nether files and copy those files over to the folder that had the broken nether world in (after deleting it) :)

You can put ladders inside the villagers house to escape, just don't put ladder on the bottom most block so the villagers won't be able to go through it, but you would be able to Trapdoor work good too, but i like ladders more
