It doesn’t start as a big problem unless it was drastic enough, like breaking bones completely, or severing body parts. Once you’ve lived with that smaller problem for a while it slowly becomes a bigger problem and it’s drastically more apparent, compared to how it felt in the beginning.

The physics here are kind of sick. Think of it as a car chase. Guy is using a harness so he not bouncing around. Foam padding slows impact speed. Kept knees bent to absorb impact. The cars were setup so the top one would fold on impact prolonging the crash. The suspension on the bottom vehicles rebounded and absorbed impact. They put old tires underneath to absorb more impact. They released the car with front down which generally has the best performance in crashes. Removed the airbags so you don’t get your Legs blown back. They took a lot of time designing this stunt.
