a immediately after crash timeline: (i tried) QF49, an A330 at 13:07 started boarding 376 passengers from a route CHI - ??? (not found yet). First Officer, Kathy Williams, on her first flight with Captain Kennedy Smith, has gone through a lot of flight sims and is ready to take on this challenge. The flight continued normally, until, as the captain closed the cockpit door, a suspected overspeed warning sounded followed by a stall warning, in which contradicted each other. The aircraft pitched down at a rate of 4 degrees a second to a "pitch" of -72 degrees, at full throttle and with a spin of -3 degrees every second and a yaw of 10 degrees. The airplane suddenly had negative 3 gees, pinning the captain and some passengers to the ceiling of the A330. The captain attempted to open the cockpit door to no avail, as the door was locked and FO was strapped in. This dive lasted for two minutes, with the aircraft pitching down even further to -83 degrees unresponsive to FO's "pitch up". As the aircraft reached at around 5000 feet, the FO's "pitch up" was now responsive, but because of how fast the aircraft was, a sudden 7 gee force was acted, knocking Captain and FO out, and severely injuring many passengers. By this time, because the aircraft wasn't designed for that, severe damage was dealt upon it and the airplane dived one last time from 1500 feet, hitting the sea at 560 knots, with pitch 23 degrees, bank 30 degrees to the right and 2 degree yaw, as the right wing tore off. All 376 passengers and 18 flight crew were instantly turned into a expensive meat smoothie, marking the first fatal Qantas air crash. It is believed that the FO collapsed forward with the stick still in hand and that may have caused the pitch down. BEHAVIOUR OF CAPTAIN: EXTREMELY POOR (2/10) He repeatedly asked FO to open the cockpit door, even though the situation was urgent, serving as distraction for FO. This, if said action wasn't carried out, could have allowed FO to focus more thus the aircraft to stay airborne for a slightly longer time, allowing for a possible emergency landing. This was especially surprising, as Kennedy Smith, the captain, had flown over 1928 hours on this same said aircraft type, so his actions were rushed and thus led to the tragic demise of QF49. BEHAVIOUR OF FIRST OFFICER: EXTREMELY GOOD (10/10) She actually got the plane to level out, an impressive feat. Her only blunder was accidental, and she repeatedly troubleshooted the problem many times, almost saving the aircraft. On the 7th of October 2008 (13 days before I was born) a QANTAS A330 registered as VH-QPA and flying under QF72 was flying from Perth to Singapore when warnings similar to the ones shown to the pilots and then the aircraft departed normal cruise and went into a steep dive with 315 people onboard. Captain Kevin Sullivan and First Officer Pete Lipsett managed to recover the aircraft. The aircraft suddenly went into a second dive and was recovered by Captain Sullivan. The aircraft made a successful emergency landing at Learmonth Airport near the town of Exmouth Western Australia with all 315 aboard alive. 12 people were severely injured and another 107 suffered minor injuries. That incident and subsequent incident of another QANTAS A330 bear striking parallels with the crash you showed. I think you where inspired by these events. Good Job can't wait for part 2😁😁
