Ingram is a lot stronger than he appears. Plays with a physicality that people don't expect.

Just wait until Ingram is like 23/24. He's going to be built like Giannis or possibly bigger. He has broad shoulders and he's still growing in height.
@rossjn98856 жыл бұрын
I don't think Ingram has the body type to put on a lot of weight but he'll still be strong and learn how to become increasingly efficient. He has more levels to go in his game.

Ross JP nah bro what the guy above said is true. Look at Ingram's body from his rookie season and compare his body to the present Ingram. Even if it isn't a big difference, his shoulders did got bigger and he starting to look more strong. I believe he can get more stronger than Durant but nearly impossible to be as strong as Giannis. He's definitely not yet in Kawhi's level but he's getting there at only 20 y.o. and just in his 2nd year in the league. I hope the Spurs will trade Kawhi somewhere else and the Lakers can wait for him by 2019 instead of trading Brandon Ingram.
@musiconcloud176 жыл бұрын
That seems to be the scenario. The Spurs are being petty and won't trade him to a WC team, only the East. We'll get him in 2019 *without* giving up our young guys. The league is going to be scared. Bet.
@earlmonroe16516 жыл бұрын
Build on what the Lakers have now. Lonzo, Hart, Ingram, Kuzma & Randle. Lonzo, Ingram and Kuzma in particular. Let them develop. Do not impede their progression bringing in another forward (unless it's LeBron). They might as well bring in another point.. Which would actually be better considering they'd be able to slide Lonzo to SG, bring Hart off the bench and keep the rest of the starters the same. Whereas bringing George would force the Lakers to really play small ball or bring Kuzma or Ingram off the bench, which would undervalue their development. So just "trust the process" and continue with Ball, Hart, Ingram, Kuzma and Randle.
@skymizo066 жыл бұрын
I agree. Why change a lineup like that. we don't need superstars. just surround our core with star veterans. go after guys like tyreke evans for a 6th man role. get some good shooters and solid rebounders. If we do get paul george tho i think kuz would be good as a scorer off the bench. it is only his second year you gotta earn your starting role. plus, he would get a lot of minutes and be the number one option off the bench.
@earlmonroe16516 жыл бұрын
Skyler Mizokami Kuzma has proven himself. He's what 3rd/4th all-time in scoring for Lakers rookies?? and he wasn't even a go to throughout the entirety of the season. He didn't really get his touches. He deserves the opportunity to be the teams go to. Along with Ingram. As do Randle and Hart, Lonzo is the floor general, but as I mentioned, I do not feel as though they are as much a priority as Lonzo, Ingram and Kuzma. If we were to get George, it would impede Kuzma's development and his future with the Lakers. Obviously, he wants to be a star, let alone a starter. There may also be a stretch where Kuzma's playing amazing and Ingram's struggling a bit, forcing them to bring Ingram off the bench. It could very well workout for a season or so but with amount of talent Kuzma has and the potential he's showcased, he is not a sixth man. Tbh it doesn't even make sense. As he's a good defender as well. That's like the Celtics making Jayson Tatum a permanent sixth man. Although George and Kawhi are amazing, I believe bringing in anyone other than LeBron or a dominant big man like Cousins would not be the right move towards developing the Lakers young, promising stars in Lonzo, Ingram and Kuzma.
@TVFunnyGuy6 жыл бұрын
I agree. Many don't want Lebron but he can carry a team. If he joins the Lakers he will play with real young talent and having a true playmaker like Lonzo will facilitate his game even more. He for sure has 3 more years being a superstar, that time will give experience to Lonzo, Ingram, Kuz and Randle. Also we can sign Lebron and wait for next season to sign Kawhi. I prefer Kawhi over PG13 any day.
@earlmonroe16516 жыл бұрын
Silver Wind Everyone wants LeBron. Anyone with sense anyway. Might no one wanted Jordan. LeBron will be LeBron until he retires. Signing LeBron AND Kawhi would be amazing, the Lakers would suddenly become favorites. However, If Ingram were to reach his full potential and become an all-time great and Kuzma ends up averaging like 30, it'd be a huge mistake. Imagine the Warriors trading for CP3 before Steph became MVP. The Warriors probably still would have been champions but their offensive scheme wouldn't have been as dominant as it is now. Ingram is a very long superstar point forward and Kuzma is an all-around superstar. Let them develop.
@ericaugusto7586 жыл бұрын

Ingram and kuzma are pretty good already with pressure and no super star player on the lakers drawing double team. People keep saying he's a baby KD. If anything he's a baby Kawhi. Put Ingram on a 50+ win team and he's the 3rd or 4th scoring option. That's LA, especially if they can trade for Lillard. And honestly, I'd rather have a baby Kawhi over a baby KD any day of the week. No point in trading for Kawhi (and losing a young core + your next 3 draft picks) when you have Brandon Ingram.

Any major trade that the Lakers make will be MANDATORY for Brandon Ingraml to be included, NOT Lonzo Ball 😢😢😢. Lonzo Ball said he is not changing his shooting form, so that eliminates the entire RIGHT-SIDE of the court for Lonzo Ball when it comes to shooting off-the-dribble 😢😢😢. GMs around the NBA demanded D'angelo Russell from the Lakers & they will also demand Brandon Ingram.

No offense to Lonzo, but to me the Lakers are better when Ingram plays point guard. He’s way more aggressive and can create his own shot and open looks for his teammates
@ericaugusto7586 жыл бұрын
Darryl Wallace it is true Lonzo need to at least be a decent scorer in order for him to take his game into next lvl offensively Look at what rubio able to do with average scoring ability, he suddenly become a really good point guard
@darrylwallace24286 жыл бұрын
Eric Augusto although I thought Lonzo showed flashes of being a great playmaker, I think he needs to get a lot stronger so he won’t struggle with his durability, absorb more contact, and shoot from other areas of the court. Sometimes Lonzo in my opinion, used passing as a defense mechanism. Meaning because he’s not the strongest, and his shot is a work in progress, he wouldn’t be as aggressive as you would’ve liked him to be. So as a result, teams starting playing him for the pass. Ingram isn’t like that, he’s tough and crafty with the ball in his hands. He knows how to keep the defense guessing which at times created shots for other guys.
@bwilliams39046 жыл бұрын
That’s a FACT!!!! I was just telling somebody else the same exact thing, When BI was at PG he was putting up 20, 5, and 6 in his SECOND YEAR!!! I don’t think Lonzo will have those type numbers in his prime, I’d look to move Lonzo and play BI at Point Forward full time in my opinion...he’s just as good as Giannis and Simmons only difference is he doesn’t get the run the point like they do in reality he’s offensively better than both there’re just stronger he can shoot unlike either of them
@ericaugusto7586 жыл бұрын
Darryl Wallace yep, at least tho we did see lonzo getting better shooting wise throughout the season He'll be fine but atm ingram better at 1
@ericaugusto7586 жыл бұрын
Ben Williams prolly a strech to move lonzo completely from PG position (or trade him) I think lonzo did improve shooting wise, and always is a better pure playmaker than ingram will ever be 1 thing that i think people miss about ingram is, he's a high IQ player (which i think explain why he's pretty good at playmaking) Off-ball he's able to make cuts/spot open man right after a catch and as for right now, i think it was his biggest assets Not handling the ball and setting up offense (even tho he's pretty darn good at it)

Tatum is certainly a great player, but i think his great first year has much to do with the genius of coach Brad Stevens. He easily should be given a lot of credit for turning players like Brown, Rozier, Smart and Tatum into amazing players. Players like Avery Bradley and Isaiah Thomas looked amazing under him, but they are at best sub-par in a different team. That's why i personally think the fact that Ingram is driving with inferior coaching and training regime gives him a notch over Tatum.

musiconcloud17 That comparison at 20 years old is the worst piece of crap known to man 😂😂😂. The 20 year old Kevin Durant would still equal Lakers finishing bottom 3 of the NBA. No more excuses, the Brooklyn and Cleveland trades were made for Playoff-tested Veteran Scorers. That way you get players that are a FINISHED PRODUCT !!!
