I've been a longtime Skylanders fan for years so I never played any of the Disney Infinity games! Today, I'll be giving my first impressions of Disney Infinity 1.0 and the small amount of toys & figures I have!

Its cool to see people still address the other toys to life games as games like Disney infinity and Lego dimensions normally get swept under the rug. I was just about to right the script for a toys to life video when this popped up in my subscriptions box and I wasn't disappointed.

I think it's really cool that Infinity is available on Steam nowadays with all of the content available, wish other defunct Toys-to-Life franchises had that, like imagine Skylanders on Steam with mod support that'd go hard

I liked Disney Infinity. It was fun and I got to play it before the online service was shut down. It was fun playing other peoples toy boxes. That was the best part. I never made my own toy box because I was too busy playing others toy boxes. That was all I did while playing. I still play from time to time. It's not as fun with the server shut down but still alright game play. Once I start playing though I can't stop. I play the whole day. My Disney Infinity collection is complete.

@Supergirl-jj8gt Hello, I am just getting your response. I worked at Toys R us during the Skylander, Disney Infinity, and the Legos Dimensions era. This is why I was able to complete all of these collections including, Best buy's exclusives, Target, Walmart, and Amazon. Also my Animal crossing card collection is complete. It wasn't easy with this last series of cards that were released though. I had to buy from another country to complete this last collection. This was the best time for me to have worked at Toys R us. It was a fun era that we will never have again. Not with the way people are today including the damn scaplers. I wish people would stop buying from scalpers. Then this would be one less problem that we would have. Scalpers wouldn't be able to make money. Like I said, the way people are today. It's like people are desperate to buy and get stuff. They have to have it right now at this very minute. They can't wait for more shipments. This despair drives up prices and makes things even more expensive and helps the scalpers. I don't buy from scalpers. I refuse and still, I always end up getting the item that I want at retail price because I have patience and I can wait or I pre order. I love the pre order process it's one of the best things to help beat scalpers. Good luck with completing your Disney infinity collection. Check all of the popular websites, yard sales and flea markets. It probably won't easy, or it may be easy. I am not looking but, these figures could be plentiful and easy to find since a lot of people quit on the game once the servers were shut down. Of course I didn't. I still play. It's fun, just not as fun without the servers. Good luck!

@@angelachavez7720 I only need like about 10 left for Disney infinity now so its obviously not going to be easy but I need to to 100% complete the game. But the hardest ones to find is obviously going to be the power discs for me.

@Supergirl-jj8gt Alright, well, you only need 10 more figures. That is great! I am glad you were able to find so many. It must be hard than but, keep looking. Don't give up. It seems like people post items for sale everyday. Just keep on checking out all of the popular websites. When you get those last 10, your going to feel great and probably relieved. On to the power discs. The power discs. I don't know what to say about those. I did not get all of my power discs from Toys R us. I hated that they were in those sealed up bags that you couldn't see through so you never knew what you were getting. I hated that. I know it was on purpose to keep us buying them. A smart money grab for the manufacturer. I completed my power disc collection using 1 ebay seller and it has been a very long while ago. I got lucky or blessed and found a seller who had a huge collection with all that I needed to complete my collection. A one stop seller for me. He had multiples of each even a few of the hard to find special Mickey mouse disc that you just can't find today. I asked him to send me 1 of each that he had. Well, I paid about $200.00. At the time and I thought that was a good deal considering the prices for each one from other sellers. I don't remember exactly how many where in the bundle. The seller did a special order for me because there were some that I already had. He made up a special list for me so that I could only pick the ones that I needed. I want to say I got about 100 power discs but that may not be correct. It may be more than 100. I can't remember. I have a few of the power disc book like cases that has a spot for each particular disc and they are filled up but, I have 2 plastic shopping bags that are full. Like Walmart bags. I have a few of the tube like disc containers and they still won't be enough so, whatever is left over when I can get back to them, I may go out later to see if I can find a more decorative container to put the rest in later and get rid of the plastic bags. This has been a while. Work has kept me from doing things that I need to do. 12 hour shifts are hard on you working in a factory. On my days off, I just don't feel like doing anything. I have a lot of projects to get to that are just being left undone due to just being too tired.

I forgot to say about the power discs to keep checking the websites and also check your local pawn shops and retro video game stores. If you live close to state lines drive to the next state and also check their pawn shops and retro game stores. Call first. To maybe save yourself a long drive from nothing. The power discs might be even harder to find than the figures or, if you do find them, the sellers may want way too much money for them. Good luck!

I would def recommend steam version of infinity because there's mods for it out there that let you play as characters that weren't out yet at the time the 3.0 version released there and some that never got figures released at all like some of my personal favorites Dr strange and Peter Pan

I play all 3 toys to life games and I also use Amiibo so I'm glad that LEGO Dimensions are only small figures or even just the discs so they luckily don't take up so much room

I remember getting into the Disney Infinity games when they released. I got a good amount of characters, but I was still focused on Skylanders mainly. I loved the ability to make big worlds in Toy Box that all of these varied characters could explore together with, especially with characters from my favourite movie.

Monsters U was actually my fav player in 1.0, the sneaking up on rival monsters and scaring the pants off them was really fun and also the paintball battles and turning everybody fat with the spikey urchins

Please play 2.0 and 3.0, they get better imo, the Spider-Man play set and the starwars play sets are really good imo. Also all the Disney classic play sets like dory and inside out are really unique in 3.0

I have every Disney infinity character from all games. And the later games are SO much better especially 3.0 you should try 3.0 and get some more characters and you’ll be amazed at how fun it is

something to note with the rate power discs, the ones for the first game weren't really that rare they were just only available in these gold wrapped bags you could only get at toys r Us back before that store and a big piece of my childhood died, they had these crystal translucent exclusive figures at that store of one character from each franchise too which was fun. the rare power discs for 2.0 were actually rare drops and I have 2 of each of the circular ones from that like infinity gauntlet

Disney Infinity will always have special place in my heart plus I own all characters from 1.0 2.0 and 3.0 and all the playsets from all 3 games got all the power discs from 3.0 missing 10 power discs from Disney Infinity 1.0 and 50 power discs from 2.0 and I got all 3 Disney Infinity games for Wii u and the Xbox one versions of 2.0 and 3.0 on Xbox One s and Xbox series x and Wii version of Disney Infinity 1.0 which is actually my preferred to play the first infinity cause my Wii u adapter is busted and the wii is nostalgic for me first console I ever got when I was 8 years old 13 years ago and I have toy box challenge for 3DS and I’m In the process of getting the rest of power discs from 1.0 and 2.0 😂😂😂

I actually used to play Disney Infinity when I was a kid! Ever since I've been into Skylanders, and when Disney Infinity was in existence, I began to play it immediately!!!! However, overtime throughout my life and after Disney Infinity's cancellation, I sorta grew out of it and lost interest because 1. I'm *heavily* into Skylanders more 2. I only liked Disney Infinity because of Spider-man 3. (Please take zero offense) it felt like a *ripoff* to Skylanders

The base is actually same fir playstation ,wii, and Xbox, pso vita is the only different base and ds one idmf it has a bas as well

This isn't true. While the Xbox 360 and Xbox One bases are the same shape-wise, they don't work on any consoles other than the ones they were designed for.

​They're not. While they may look the same, the Infinity Bases for Xbox 360 and Xbox One only work for the consoles they were rated for. The same thing applied to the Skylanders portals. The Wii, Wii U, PS3 and PS4 all use the same Infinity Base but the Xbox does not, this fact is even brought up in the video at 4:19. Try it for yourself if you're so confident.

The bases are the same but Xbox 360 portals only work on 360 and Xbox One only works on One. You can try it with both Disney Infinity Portals and Skylanders Portals
